(Hello, new unlurkers! A few folks mentioned getting LJ accounts so as to comment on that entry, so welcome aboard and enjoy your stay.)
Meanwhile, I am hearing disturbing rumors that NECA might not put out The Littlest Bella until JULY. Y'all... I am gonna be so screwed if I have to tread water on this for another three months. I am trying very hard not to email them like a wingnut and plead for information.
Meanwhile-meanwhile, I've been clenching my jaw again, fnarr. Got a lot of work done today, though (which is probably why).

2) MICHAEL SHEEEEEEEEN! RPattz who?
3) Dammit, now I can't not see this movie. Michael Sheen, why must you be so awesome? (Oh who am I kidding, I was going to see it anyway.)
Also, somebody called the theatre where I work today to request that we show Little Ashes, saying "it's a small independent film about Salvador Dali" and I nearly lost my shit (for the record, it's a historic theatre, and we don't generally show first run movies). As far as I can tell, there's only one reason why somebody would be so excited about this movie, and it's not because of a love for art history.

I'm trying to imagine someone calling the Alabama Theatre downtown about this, and... yeah, it's pretty funny.

My friend found them earlier at a Wally World and shoved them in there.
They are pretty tasty as far as Sweethearts go (and have hilarious names like "Orange Obsession" and "Tempting Apple" but OMG the purple and orange hearts ACTUALLY SPARKLE. It's INSANE/HILARIOUS. Especially the quotes OMG, for example, "Bad Guy" "Forks" "I <3 EC" and "Dazzle".

Date: 2009-04-15 03:05 am (UTC)Re-release of the Potter spin-of books: DO NOT WANT. AGH. I'm already pissed that I don't have the money to buy the expensive copy of Beetle the Bard, and NOW these two pop up?! My mom won't let me if she finds out I already have the original copies.
EH? D: I didn't know there was a Nanny McPhee sequel! And...*sobs* No Colin Firth? :( I liked the original kids, too. Lol @ my disappointment. Watch me get all excited once it comes out.

Date: 2009-04-15 03:11 am (UTC)OH, that Hugh Jackman. That's really awesome what he's doing. But how to convince him in 140 words? Must think on this.
Slightly OT, but I'm so glad there's something on here about Richard Jenkins! Long story short, he got Johnny Depp (with whom he's working on The Rum Diary) to autograph a picture and sent it to a girl in my film class who just about died when my teacher (a friend of Jenkins') gave it to her. It made my day. (And hers too, I'm guessing)

Okay, enough fangirling. Just had to get that out. Anyway, the re-release of the HP companion books is reminding me that I still need to go get Beetle the Bard. Also that I seem to have lost my copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, but that's alright since it gives me an excuse to buy the new edition!

And, hey, I'm actually kind of excited about the Piranha remake! The original was awesome, but it'd be nice to see a creature feature where the menace wasn't a secret government bio-weapon gone amok.
