More pictures of Alice Dollen! She is, in fact, wearing slippers, since someone asked. And the date on her card says only "2009," woe.

(OMG YOU GUYS! THE YELLOW BARBIE CORVETTE I HAD AS A KID! omg. We gave all our Barbie stuff away when I was in college and my sister was in her early teens. If I went out and bought another one for Alice, no matter how cheap, thereby bringing MOAR CLUTTER into the house, my mother would kill me.)

Yeah, I was like, WHO DOES THAT? I mean, later in the article it gets worse--they may be using the same nickname for more than one perpetrator, they're not sure, but there was also an attempted rape involved, which is awful. And yet... that happens, you know? It's all too common a crime, unfortunately. It's the stranger standing there STARING at the women, or trying to "cuddle" them, that freaks me out so bad because WHO DOES THAT?

Oh, I completely winced at that first picture. I guess it's regulation to make the "Stock Picture to Go on Every Piece of Disney Princess Crap" version look so bland and sterile.

That movie is either going to be really good or really dull and overbearing. I'm praying the former. Tiana has dimples (like me!), and it looks like she has them in more than one scene, unlike Belle. XP

My icon needs to be changed to "Edward Cullen: rated S for Stalker" (or maybe "Stay Away")

I saw Dollhouse, on DVR so it probably didn't count for ratings, but I almost wept at how horrible it was. The premise was so disgustingly sexist, and the show didn't encourage me to believe Joss was going to undermine it, what with all the wink wink, nudge nudge and gratuitous T&A. And the writing was SO BORING! It was as if Joss had spent the time between Dr. Horrible and now watching and endeavoring to imitate Las Vegas - the show which is so boring my mind refuses to allow any of it to penetrate my consciousness.

I will try again, for it is Joss and I can't completely give up on him after one episode. But I would have run screaming far far away had this pilot been by anyone else.

In other news, Crusoe got canceled??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

*shakes tiny fists*

*gapes at the stalker behavior* Oh my stars and garters. I have to turn down a guy who asked me to prom on Valentine's Day (!) via hand-delivered (!!) acrostic poem of my name(!!!) in MONOTYPE CORSIVA (!!!!) tomorrow and this is hitting all of my worry-buttons HARD. Ick. How people can think obsessive shadowing unawares is cute, romantic, or funny is beyond me.

The Astroboy trailer is really neat-looking; I have yet to figure out what the plot is going to involve. This may have something to do with the fact that both times I saw Coraline, I arrived after the trailer started... but I do hope this doesn't fuel a local tendency to believe all things Japanese are weird and lame.

It never got out of hand...but I've had a few guys 'shadow' me online before. It's creepy as hell, one was years ago, and he was convinced I had a thing for him, would not leave me alone and I finally had to block him on every messenger and email I had. Why people fail to understand the concept of 'no' or 'I don't want to talk to/see you' I will never understand. ~shivers~

i.e. Georgetown:

That totally reminds me, I can't believe I didn't get the Twilighty-creepiness at the time--I mean, I got the creepiness, but now I'm like "omgedward"--but: Last year at my college, two guys were going around sneaking into girls dorm rooms and cuddling with them. Yes, you heard(read?) me right: Cuddling. They seriously went around, sneaking into girls rooms and spooning with them while the girls slept. And yes, two of them; one would spoon, the other would watch, or something like that, and then they'd switch. One girl woke up to the sound of a condom being opened, and then they turned themselves in soon after that.

And, I feel it's important to mention that I've always been suspicious about if that was the real story. I mean, who doesn't wake up to someone cuddling with them? Either the girls were passed-out drunk, or... I don't even know what. It's still a rather creepy, Edward-esque thing to do, though.

Also: Yay Alice Dollen! She looks awesome. I may have to buy itwhen I get money.
