Oh man I have to agree. I loved that his live version pretty much sounded like his studio recording. I don't really like the personality he's trying to present (well maybe not dislike, but just indifferent to it) but I gotta give him props for his vocal skills.

Hello! Recent delurker here, been following your blog off and on since Phantom in 15m but am currently entralled in SLoD, especially after the newest arrival (Holy shit! It's all on!). Just had to point out that you've no reason to be ashamed of listening to the Phantom Soundtrack, considering that both me & my flatmate go about our daily business with it on our iPods. Oh, and a friend of mine used to work at a pub where she would occasionally play it. I think the manager told her to stop doing that, because, for whatever reason, boozy old men don't like Andrew Lloyd Webber. *shrugs*

I read that as Richard Dawkins, causing a serious 'WUT' moment. I maintain that I might actually want to see that version.

I hope you like it. :)

I try not to think about Breaking Dawn as a movie. I just...I don't see how anyone (actors or audience) could possibly get through any of those scenes with a straight face. I tried to tell myself "well, Michael Sheen could bring much needed dignity to the final not-showdown..." but really, unless they just embrace the camp and hire John Waters, I think it's just gonna be one of those "so bad it's bad" things.

'The Tudors' to end in 2010.

This is to be expected. After all, they won't have any more wives to go through after Catherine Parr and then Henry dies, so, really, what's the point in continueing?

I can happily send you a spare box of Twilight conversation hearts if you want 'em. Otherwise they're just going to sit in the back of the pantry for years at this rate. I should've only gotten one box to try 'em - turns out they're not for me, taste-wise. ^_^;

Now that Michael was cast they should just make the whole movie about Aro (who wouldn't love backstory, anyway?) and then just give Bella and Sparklepire like five minutes... the Volturi are obviously where the real actors are anyway...
