Wow. Watching that video, I kind of have a McCrush on McDreamy. ('Scuse me, I have to go shower away the ick now.) I haven't watched Grey's Anatomy in I don't know how long, but I remember when Dr. Hahn first appeared on the show, and I thought she kicked ass and that they should keep her. If they'd done that earlier, before the show became completely unbearable, I might still be watching it. Brooke Smith is an amazing actress, and she deserves much better.

Also, shouldn't the director of the Twilight movie know the difference between the dazzling and the sparkling?

She's not wearing black and refusing to come out of her room and yelling at the people she loves. She is completely containing it inside herself.

Okay, I'll give her the "she's not wearing black" part, but the rest? AHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

By the way, her mention of the X-Men reminded me of a comment you made once that went along the lines of "What is this, the X-Men? Where they gave Dazzler the power of disco or some shit?" INTERESTING. (Hee.) I guess her influence isn't so subtle.

For real. I don't know what was sadder--that the article/feature thing just devolved into "Shit I Like," or that she couldn't come up with twelve actual influences.

The Anne of Green Gables thing I was expecting, because she actually has Bella mention Anne in the third book. The X-Men thing CRACKED MY SHIT UP SO BAD, though, because I wasn't expecting her to actually come out and admit it. I think I'd called her on it at least twice already.

Hahah when I saw Stephen Colbert cry, I knew it wasn't a joke. I switched to CNN immediately. I still can't believe it.

It's really depressing though, that on the same night that we as a country have made such a monumental step, we've also for the first time in my lifetime anyway actually taken away the rights of a group of individuals. :/

Jane Eyre? Stephenie Meyer thinks Bella is similar to Jane motherfucking Eyre? *gnashes teeth* Look, Jane Eyre is a fantastic character -- she's got flaws and everything. Bella? Bella is a one-dimensional biscuit person. She looks all solid on the outside, but then you bite into her and she's flaky.

When Jane's Edward got all weird and the weird stuff he pulled on her was revealed (Edward "Secret Crazy" Rochester vs. Edward "im in ur room, watchin u sleep" Cullen), Jane got the hell out of there. And then Jane encounters The Perfect Victorian GentlemanTM and she realizes she can't love him. Edward Cullen is a super-creepy St. John. Edward Cullen is not Edward Rochester.

Oh, god. I feel like a fantastic book has been raped.
