Thank you SO MUCH for the link to the True Blood clip. It's total cheese, but such good cheese.

And as an '80s relic, words cannot express how stoked I am that Andy Serkis is playing Ian Dury in Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll. When I read the link I immediately thought "OMG, it has to be a Dury biopic, and I hope to God Andy Serkis is playing him!" And my wish came true! Trust the British to do purely inspired casting. Whee!

Uh. So a sign of how I'm so not into Star Trek - I spent several long moments wonder why you had a link regarding an aircraft carrier amid the Trek news.

To be fair, I've actually been on the USS Enterprise (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Enterprise_(CVN-65)). It's very windy on the deck of a carrier, btw.

She may not have matched the BBOH to the dress, but that dress is gorgeous! I also like Ron's spiffy shiny-thread jacket. My pet peeve...shouldn't they be in dress robes? What's the point of wizards having dress robes if they don't wear them? And I think it's in the book. As it is, the boys just look like they're wearing longer than normal suit jackets. They do look quite dashing, though!

I'm probably in the minority, but I think Hermione's dress is hideous. Don't really care about the bag except as a plotpoint. Also? I get increasingly disappointed at how *fashionable* they keep making Hermione. No traces of a bushy mane of brown hair, instead, there's Hogwarts Nerd Barbie, blonde locks and all.

I agree with James Marsters, I read Spike and Dru and the artwork made me cringe. I know it's tricky balance, you don't want Spike and Drusilla to look too much like James Marsters and Juliet Landau, but at the same time if you make them too dissimilar they become completely unrecognizable. And if the comic wasn't called Spike and Dru... I probably still would've known who was in it cause I'm a geek like that, but somebody click the second link and look at the examples from the comic there and tell me if that looks like Drusilla to you at all.

On a side note, I can't wait for the issues of Angel: After The Fall Juliet Landau is co-writing, the cover art (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_sWu0-rmtFZM/Se1fvh9cZlI/AAAAAAAACR0/1VYbhZ9dlgk/s1600-h/runge.jpg) looks amazing. (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_sWu0-rmtFZM/Se1fvgBeu2I/AAAAAAAACRs/XzyLnpi62gg/s1600-h/Angel24_RIB_SamShearon.jpg)

And uhh... Wouldn't it be kinda hard for there to be openly gay characters on Stargate given that most of the characters are military personnel?
