Trufax: I was talking to my sister's boyfriend--we really need to come up with a code name for him, Sister Girl and I decided, but we don't know what yet--on Sunday and he mentioned the Twilight Tonner dolls. Apparently when I was all like YOU GUYS GO TO THE TONNER NYCC BOOTH AND JUST, LIKE... LOOK AT THEM OR SOMETHING FOR ME earlier this month, he did, and he was like, "Who's in charge here? Can we buy 400 of those for our stores?" And the Tonner people were like, "Uh... YES." Apparently it had never occurred to anyone to sell actual dolls at bookstores, even though their rival Borders has been selling the action figures and all the Hot Topic crap. So, uh... if you happen to be at a Books-a-Million and you see the Tonners there as an in-store exclusive, that's... kind of because one of their buyers has a not-quite sister-in-law who's a Crazy Doll Lady. *cough* I mean, I asked Sister Girl, and she said, "No, it totally would have been because of you, that's how he would have heard about the dolls in the first place," although of course he was the one smart enough to actually come up with the idea and get them for the stores.

And the other thing is... I don't have anything solid enough to repeat on this, but they might give Books-a-Million some kind of holiday exclusive, I don't know. It might simply be that Tonner's going to put out more stuff for the holidays, as they do, and Books-a-Million will be the only bookstore selling it, who knows.

Meanwhile, I am TIRED of this head cold. It's just bad enough to make me feel groggy and snerfy, but not bad enough to GET ON WITH IT.

Also: Remind me to tell you about the Bowl of Galadriel. Again. Uh... tomorrow. Like I said: I'm a bit behind.

You know, fans of the Lulz gove RPattz a lot of cred for like, implying he doesn't like what he does, or you know being unkept and high off his rocker(alledgedly), but I think KStewart's got a set of iron balls on her. Just reading that 'why wasn't she at the Oscars' article, really kind of made me respect her on this weird level of like, "right, this shit is bananas?" Or maybe it's because she used the f-word a lot and I'm still impressed by other people swearing as much as I do...It was a total, OH SNAP moment, when her Dad said she'd go to the Oscars for a GOOD movie, not a high grossing one.

I'm so excited about Knowing coming out! See that last scene of Nick running outside with trees and everything? Yeah. Totally filmed next door to my house. Is it sad to get excited when you recognise the places in a film? =)

When I first saw a reference for "Knowing," I assumed it was short for what I figured was the full title of the GI Joe movie.

GI Joe: Knowing is Half the Battle.

And how on earth did they complete imaginarium?! O_o Did they pull a Game of Death or something? This is going to be weird.

... Wow, I dared myself to write a story after seeing all these teen vampire stuff, but I think I'm too SMyersish to survive. I'm really thin skinned, and in English Composition I was the type of person who thought to myself "He just doesn't get it" when I didn't do well...

All the big booksellers have been getting exclusives with lots of things. Someone got an exclusive version of the Harry Potter not-in-the-series-for-charity thingamajig which it should really trouble me that the name escapes me since I work at the home office for Borders oh yeah it's Beedle the Bard holy crap that took too long to remember and of course I'm not going back to edit out my stupidity and Borders got an 18 month calendar exclusive for Twilight (I'm dying here, really, but you can't look free money in the mouth like that with how this company has been doing the past few years). A LOT of people are surprised by what bookstores actually sell these days. I mean, we have to compete with Amazon, for chrissakes...

Holy crap, no we DON'T need a Mamma Mia sequel! The stage show was fantastic... but the film... well, It had issues. Namely James Bond attempting to sing (very badly) issues.

And I think Crazy Doll Lady has a nice ring to it.

I am going to have to Netflix In the Electric Mist when it comes out. It was shot down the street from me when I worked in New Iberia. Although it is like nails on a chalkboard when non-Cajuns try to do the accent. Unless you live down here, it is a really hard thing to do right and very very few actors can get it right. But I will watch it anyway for the novelty.

Oh, the humanity!

Call him Sister Boy. I think it's fitting XD

And Anthony Hopkins is AWESOME. I remember seeing him on Conan once, and he randomly stuck out his ankles, revealing his neopolitan-coloured striped socks and went "Like my socks? =D"

On a related note, when I was a teen, I was coming back from a long road trip in the pitch black, when my clownish friend Jonah managed to sneak underneath the van seat in front of me, grabbed my feet and went "Good evening, Clarice." in his best Lecter voice.
