Didn't Disney already make a Tower of Terror movie? With, like, Kirsten Dunst in it? I totally remember watching that as a kid.

Well, it was a made-for-TV movie, I think. But I totally remember it, too.

Hi Cleo. Just a quick note to say thank you for linking to the Australian Red Cross website so that people can make donations to the bushfire appeal. It's great to see people from all over the world responding to the crisis and helping the victims of this horrific tragedy. It is greatly appreciated.

Hey Cleo,

Thanks for posting up the links for the Red Cross Australia site and encouraging people to donate for the Victorian Bushfire Disaster. Every time I see that picture of the koala it kills me coz I think it's worse for the animals & wildlife who can't help themselves.

People can also make donations to Wildlife Victoria (http://www.wildlifevictoria.org.au/cms/index.php) and als the RSPCA (http://www.rspcavic.org/campaigns_news/news_bushfires.htm) to try and assist the animal carers too!

Thanks again, it means a lot to us know that there are people all over the world who are willing to help!

It's just so sad. Koalas don't drink water - they get their water/fluids from Eucalyptus tree leaves. So imagine how dehydrated he must have been. Poor little thing.

It's so surreal reading about the fires on your blog. I think I'm still in shock about how bad it really was. We were very, very lucky, the wind changed before our house or any of my friends' were in any real danger.

On a lighter note, I was gonna say I was sure I'd seen a Tower of Terror movie once already. It was ... not memorable
