The WP review is love, especially since the woman who wrote it also wrote one of my favourite books. Ironically, said book also features vaguely squicky relationships. ("I slept with your mom and wanted your dad [who you look just like] and you have raging mommy issues. Sex?"

Sounds like the Washington Post's write up is spot on. Young adult literature classes will be discussing Meyer for the next decade as the female author who betrayed her gender and tried to suppress women all over again.
