I HAVE A GOLDEN BATMAN TICKET, YAY! We're driving out to Trussville for a 9:30 am showing on Saturday, so it will be an adventure. An adventure with a lot of caffeine.

However, I was dying of a horrendous headache most of the afternoon. I stepped up from 150 mg Lamictal to 175 mg on Monday, and immediately got a headache. Like, within half an hour of taking my meds. Today: same thing, only worse. Obviously, I need to step back down for a while. But there's another possibility: when I cut my Zoloft in half at the beginning of this whole process, my mild, daily headaches immediately stopped. Once again, I'm wondering if this is not Zoloft bringing out the worst in potential Lamictal side effects, and that maybe if I dropped the Zoloft down again--from 50 mg to nothing? I'm already cutting pills in half, I'd reduce them to dust if I cut them into quarters--and kept the Lamictal at 175, I'd be fine. I think I'd have to call my doctor before I tried that, though. I've got to do something, though, because I've been wandering around moaning dramatically all afternoon.

Well, what happened (IIRC from linkspam of the days of yore) was that Rachel Weisz was like, "This script is crap, I don't want to do it." And apparently that wasn't, like, a red flag to anyone else.

....It's Brendan Fraiser. George of the Jungle, Dudley Do-Right. I'm not really surprised that he would pick up a crappy script and go "OKAY!"

That interview that Cleo posted the other day had him going: people been asking me for years about a Mummy 3 and I'm like "DUDE I KNOW!"

But I love brendan and honestly when it comes between the two actresses, Rachel & Maria... I like Rachel but I LOVE Maria. She's awesome in anything she does (*just watched The Jane Austen Book Club two nights ago and is still fangirling from it*)

btw you forgot Monkeybones and Bedazzled... ok I loved its skanky badness liked Bedazzled but Monkeybones was pretty painful too.

Dudley Do Right had to be the worst, I actually GOT RID of the dvd after watching it. (bought it unwatched thinking it's brendan, can't go wrong... WRONG)

Brendan's kind of goofy and lovable as a guy, but he chooses some awful film roles. XD

Honestly, I don't know much about Maria! I'm just a Rachel fangirl. She totally carried Constantine for me.

I've really liked her in other things too... Constantine... Swept From the Sea (or something like that).

Brendan leaves me scratching my head, he's not a dumb guy. There's Gods & Monsters too. To me he's the kind of guy that is the PERFECT DAD, loves to play with his kids and be silly and goofy but capable of being adult too.

And Maria Bello's been in a lot of movies lately. My first time seeing her was Dr Anna Del Amico on ER for one season as the blond doctor that got Noah Wyle's character's shorts all twisted with WANT! IWANT NOW! but she ended up going back to her loser boyfriend. Then there was Duets (fantastic movie with fantastic ensemble cast... oh and paltrow... think it was directed by her Dad) Her biggest dramatic role lately was History of Violence with Viggo but there's been a lot of things lately... my guilty pleasure favorite is Coyote Ugly where she played the bar owner.

She generally plays ballsy women. Never the "weak victim". Her characters are flawed and sometimes self-destructive but not "woe is me"/FLAIL.

OH! Dr. Anna and the Coyote Ugly owner. NOW I gotcha.

Yeah, it's kinda like Brendan self-sabotages? Or maybe he just kind of goes, "screw success, this is going to be a lot of fun!"

I kind of lean toward the latter, because he just seems to be the kind of guy who loves to have fun that much.

But it makes me hope he has a hell of an accountant, you know?

George of the Jungle is AWESOME. I hold this opinion very firmly despite not having seen that movie since I was quite young.

I maintain that it's only awesome because of Brendan in a loincloth.
