Okay, so: the mania was getting so unpleasant (and let me repeat, it was a physical sense of being overcaffeinated; I was otherwise completely calm and non-crazy) that I broke down and started my new, slightly higher dose of Lamictal. Things seem to be gradually calming down. Of course, side effects include back pain and stomach upset (both of which have already set in), so that's fantastic.

Also, I got three packages in the mail today and I have no idea who they're from, and thus no way to contact anyone, thank them (thank you!) and let them know that things arrived. So: 1) witch hazel/rose toner, received; 2) Neutrogena conditioner, received; 3) soap and conditioner mask from Lush, received. (Again, thank you!)

Still truckin' in the Comedy Mines. Might be done with things this weekend, I don't know.

Meanwhile: two-part video of the New Moon panel; the best, snarkiest writeup I've seen ("I can’t wait to take part in the Caesarian"); leaked clips, get 'em while they're hot. (Summit's taking them down as they find them, so I won't be able to repost them if they go down. Short version: Ghostly Edward appears, Bella wipes out on a bike, BLATANT JACOB FAN SERVICE; yellow Porsche, Bella runs, 6000 women scream at Shirtless Edward. As McRachel and I were discussing, it's like porno for pre-teens.) (Also, God bless Chris Weitz, I am totally in platonic unscary movie-fan love with him.)

Also-also: Tonner Edward's "Hungry" double (via [livejournal.com profile] annlarimer); The Sparkenpire in the wild. Maybe I'll get one as a chew toy for the Ellowynes for Christmas.

I'm on Lamictal, along with something else for depression, it's worked well for me so far. For me, it's needed to stabilize moods, I don't have intense mania, but I do fluctuate between highs and lows far too quickly, resulting in so much exhaustion.

I'm sorry that you experience the back pain and stomach aches!! That sucks; luckily I don't have the stomach issues. I hope you feel better soon. :)

I hearding screaming in my head just reading that write-up. Really, I don't expect anything less from RPatz with his Caesarian comment. Let's not forget he called SMeyer a delusional housewife in an early interview.

Oh Robert Pattinson, bless you for giving me the impression that you sort of get it. Also, I apologize to you on behalf of estrogen everywhere.

I get this feeling he breaks out in a cold sweat whenever he smells Bath & Bodyworks or Bonnie Belle.

I also had to refrain from throwing up in my mouth when the audience freaked out during the clips. Sweet heaven, my ears bled and I had it on the lowest volume.

OMG he just went there, I can't believe it. XD

I'm halfway tempted to actually watch these movies now (on DVD), just to liberally snark at them.

The Lamictal side effects might/should step back as you adjust to the new dose. I mean, here's hoping that'll be your case.

De-lurking just to say that as much as I LOVED RPattz's Caesarian response, I believe KStew should get a bunch of credit for setting it up with her cheeky comment about "looking forward to getting pregnant." In the video, you can see Rob couldn't believe she actually said it (especially given those ridiculous rumors a week or two ago) and then you could sort of see him thinking through whether he was going to dare to talk about the ridiculousness that is the Breaking Dawn birthing scene further. Thank GOD he did. RPattz for the win.

Huh, the "see Bella run" scene is sort of gorgeous. Is that about the most active she ever is? I particularly like the sprint-through-the-fountain bit, it's oddly... masculine. I mean, it's the sort of cool thing the male lead generally gets to do to save the imperilled love interest. Which is strange, given how totally regressive the story seems to be in the main.
