A gorgeous day
Apr. 17th, 2009 01:42 pmThere seems to be a Team Littlest Edward movement brewing in the Secret Life comments--I particularly enjoyed these two icons. (If you feel the urge to acquire your own Littlest Edward, you can get one from Entertainment Earth through my affiliate account. Put a teacup full of cotton balls or knitting yarn out for him and your stuffed animals ought to be fine.)

Can I call you Channing? Or Carol? I'm going to call you Carol. Carol, honey, you didn't get to play Gambit because Tim Riggins is SEVEN THOUSAND TIMES HOTTER THAN YOU ARE. You're cute, okay, Carol? You have a cute butt. But you're not Tim Riggins. Sorry. Good luck with that Fighting thing. Kisses,

They're finally releasing The Colour of Magic here.
Also, I have to go see State of Play - they filmed part of it outside (and possibly some inside) my former office (while I was still working there)! So if it turns out one of the office buildings has these weird round circular things outside...that's where I worked! Hee.

Where do you think they'll end the first movie? Maybe Beorn or Mirkwood?
*calms down* I really like the new HP trailer! The cinematograpy looks fantastic. Hopefully it won't be as disappointing as OotP. It looks like they're keeping in a lot of subplots. yay! Although, did anyone else think the Inferi looked a heck of a lot like Gollum?
I thought the rating was funny. Mild Sensuality. *gasp*
Also, Alan Rickman looks totally awesome in this trailer.

Date: 2009-04-17 09:52 pm (UTC)1)Finished reading Witches Abroad (And for making it my first Discworld book, don't get me wrong I love it, but I wish I had been paying attention when I was at Borders that day and picked up one of the earlier books).
2)Read more Terry Pratchett.
3)Watched a single episode of True Blood, I've always wanted to check it out, but a lack of cable for two years (I know, I know) has prevented me from doing so.
And I really really hope Dollhouse doesn't get canceled, it's one of the few shows I bother to watch now.

From:NEED ADVICE about purchase of dolls *for me! i promise!*
Date: 2009-04-18 12:11 am (UTC)after getting hooked up on SLOD you passed me down the desire to get a couple of dolls.
So far i got the RichardHarris!Dumbledore:
http://www.comingsoon.net/imageGallery/Harry_Potter_Toy_Fair/Harry_Potter_Toy_Fair_8.jpg
and I'm really considering to buy a Harry next.
but since SLOD has showed that the dolls arrive with personalities.
(Dumbledore hasn't stopped reading My Charles dickens collection for some reason... )
and the Harry I had in mind to get is the oldest- either the order of Phoenix one or the soon to be released HBP one.
the problem it is evident from what has already been shown through Little Edward's knowledge of his situation that either harry's personality is going to be marked by the movie they come from.
so OoP!Harry is going to be a bit moody and ConstantVigilance! sort of thing:
http://www.amazon.com/Potter-Phoenix-NECA-Action-Figure/dp/B000MTBOKY/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1240011865&sr=1-14

HBP!Harry looks a bit more relaxed:
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_RyFbT-YLuoM/SIs0uVbP1fI/AAAAAAAAAsQ/Xd2Tc3Zx8Yc/s1600-h/harry_neca.jpg
I kind of want him more.
but I have the preocupation that he will be all dazzled and daydreaming about the "dream girl" he gets assigned in HBP, and I don't want to stay up till late because he mumbles in his sleep about it.
so suggestions? do you think HBP!Harry is going to be lovesick or oblivious to it?

Date: 2009-04-18 12:35 am (UTC)1) The army of darkness thing is hilarious.
2) The fact that Rupert Everett looks like a completely different person now makes me want to cry...I love him! Er...the old him?
3) Partly Cloudy looks downright adorable. Pixar is made of awesome.
4) Can't they just fit The Hobbit into one longer movie like they did with the others? Sigh.
5) Unless they somehow resurrect Angelina's character, I have no hope for the Wanted sequel.
IT IS HIM!
