Stewart seen as winner in Cramer showdown; Obama spokesman 'enjoyed' lashing of CNBC host. See the full unedited version on the Comedy Central site (scroll down to "Unedited Interview, Pt 1," etc. It was edited for time, mostly, because Jon Stewart persisted in his rampage of pwnage).

To that end, my favorite parts of the interview were Jon Stewart being like, "Roll 210! ROLL 216!"

I do think he didn't quite go in for the kill, though--watching Cramer squirm, what I really wanted someone to say was, "You're shown on tape telling someone how to manipulate the market. I cannot believe anything you say from here on out." I mean, he pointed this out, but didn't quite go for the fatality there. The closest he got was, "I want this Jim Cramer to protect me from that Jim Cramer."

Yeah, there wasn't as much epic smackdown as there could have been. And quite honestly, I think it's because Stewart felt bad for the guy. *I* felt bad for the guy. I was still disappointed, though, because I feel like Cramer is going to go back to doing what he always does and nothing will come out of this but some laughs. On the other hand, I think part of the point of the interview was to bury the hatchet and let everybody get back to business, so Stewart couldn't eviscerate him too much.
