It's this artist, and she did both Edward and Bella for sale on Ebay:

But I fully recommend it. The book even has illustrations of Elizabeth Bennet with a dagger and kicking zombies in the face.

See, I love the original version so much (mostly because of Ray Harryhausen) that I'm having a hard time even accepting the idea of a remake. Because A) remakes, as a whole, tend to suck so very, very much. B) You just know they're going to CGI this sucker to Hell (or rather, the Underworld) which just makes me sad. And C)...I don't really have a C right now. I'll get back to you.

But honestly, casting two actors I like, and for that matter including my favorite of the Greek gods (Hades) in the film...that's just playing dirty pool, makers of the film. I am ashamed for you. But I may just have to see your stupid remake after all *sighs*

Are Movies Better the Second Time?

Sometimes, absolutely. The first time I saw Zoolander I thought it was ridiculous and stupid. About a year later, I saw it on tv, and I thought it was ridiculous and AWESOME. It's now one of my favorite movies, and I watch it at least once a month. I call this the Zoolander Effect; I'm hoping it holds true for Tropic Thunder.

Would You Rather Universal Make a Third Riddick Film or ‘Serenity 2′? (http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/article/would-you-rather-universal-make-a-third-riddick-film-or-serenity-2) (oh, come on, that's not even a fair fight)

I do have to say that I fucking loved Pitch Black and Riddick. Never mind the abrupt shift in genre, tone, scale and quality, they were both very enjoyable movies. I liked that for once I didn't feel guilty rooting for a villain in Pitch Black. Riddick was amazing in an "awesomely terrible, but why could'nt someone with a clue have written this" kind of way. Another Firefly movie? Could be beautiful, could be fantastic, could be... mediocre. I don't know.

Jackson Rathbone seems to be wanting to distance himself from the Twilight franchise. Well-known actors tend to play unsubs for Criminal Minds when they want to get away from associations with a signature project and/or teen idol image.

Frankie Muniz, James Van Der Beek, and Wil Wheaton have all played unsubs on CM.
