Actually, I think they may be. Firefly was on Fox, wasn't it?

Well, the Fox Network is a sister company to 20th Century Fox, but they're not the same. And Joss Whedon swore up and down that the people in charge of canceling Firefly are not the people who are in charge of Fox Broadcasting right now.

It would be irony of ironies if the people who had been in charge of Fox in 2002 are now in 20th Century Fox and canceling movies...

And yet whoever is running Fox Broadcasting now is going to screw Joss again by putting Dollhouse in the Friday-Slot-of-Doom. It just seems like no good came come of Fox. No matter who is charge of what.

And requiring him to set aside the original pilot for one that's "more accessible", which means the original pilot will never be seen, and the series concept has changed drastically...as much as I've been trying not to judge the series before it airs, I'm really not excited about something that has been Executive Meddled this much.
