Also, Sister Girl wants you to know that Pete now has a lampshade on his head. You know, one of those cones they put around dogs' necks to keep them from chewing at stitches and whatever. I keep thinking there must be an accompanying article titled "Area Man Wants You to Get Off His Damn Lawn."

Heh. Let's not drag presidential politics into this....

And I would've recommended both installments of MightyGodKing's 'shopped book cover collection (as seen on BoingBoing (http://www.boingboing.net/2008/10/21/true-nature-of-scien.html)) but his host got Boinged into oblivion and he's currently scouring for a new place to call home....

"Area Man Wants You to Get Off His Damn Lawn."

SURELY that must be an Onion article somewere.

Also, that Simpsons movie references site is awesome, and yet is barely a drop in the bucket. Trying to catalogue all the refs from 20 seasons worth of episodes* would be even more insane than tracking down all the samples on Paul's Boutique was back in high school.

*Somewhere out there, a crazy media history grad student is probably doing this RIGHT NOW, actually.

Michael Fassbender...om nom drool. I used to watch Hex on BBC America just for him. When I went to see 300 I told my best friend about him, and somewhere in the middle of the movie she leaned over and said "yeah, that guy...yeah."

I just wear what I normally wear and tell people I'm an undercover FBI agent. Really undercover.

I don't know why people are all "AAAH DARK KNIGHT 2" when it was announced after the success of Batman Begins that Christopher Nolan would make a trilogy. It's always been a trilogy. It's not them cashing off The Dark Knight.

Yeah... I don't get it either. Doesn't it seem natural that we'd have a third movie about, like, the redemption of Batman in the eyes of Gotham?

If you haven't heard, Obama is apparently officially a dictator.

Why, you may ask? Well, look no further than his blatant use of a flag with a big "O" on it... In Ohio... Bob Grant, being the genius he is, clearly caught-on that this flag was a representation of the coming leadership should Senator Obama win the election and not at all the state's flag.

My oh my, I love idiocy in the evening.

Tim Curry's Pennywise was the only good thing about the IT miniseries. They left so much out, and had too many comedians in the adult roles. If ever a remake is actually warrented, IT calls out for one (with Tim Curry returning, natch)
