Much quieter today. Tried to get some rest today so that I can annotate tonight--fewer distractions at night, plus I'm not away from the internet (which I need for many of the notes and citations themselves). Last I heard from Sister Girl, she was at the Vosges store in NYC, but it was too loud to hear her over the phone. Not much else going on, really.

They're making ANOTHER Saw movie? JUST LET IT DIE ALREADY. And I liked the first one. And Julie Benz is in it? The little cred she managed to regain with me from Dexter (after years of of loathing her so much in BtVS/Angel that the very site of her name in the opening credits made me grind my teeth) is swirling the bowl.

The fact that Tucker Max, loser extraordinaire, is getting a movie for being a drunken asshole only proves that for every stupid, ridiculous idea someone has, there is someone equally stupid willing to make a movie out of it.

You know, there are some headlines where you don't even want to read them, because they probably aren't as amusing as you imagine. This is one: Ewan McGregor may or may not have paid attention to the last role he played. Hee.

Which means I get a co-credit in anything she writes. :P

Orlando as a thief, Chow Yun-Fat and Liam Neeson -- sounds great to me!

Also, Emilie makes Johnny Depp look tall. She made Dom look not-short. She must be tiny along with being gorgeous.

I'm not sure I would even trust it for that much. Here in Oklahoma there was a big scandal a few years ago where the chemist in charge of analyzing the dna was discovered to be falsifying the evidence.

Wait. WHUT

I don't know if I like the sound of that (ugh pun). Not that I don't like Switchfoot, they're fine. But it just seems like a very Disney thing to do, "Hey, let's put a modern rock song in the middle of our fantasy movie to appeal to ~*the kids*~!" whatevz

Well, didn't they put out an entire CD of Christian music last time that never appeared in the movie at all? And there were a number of songs that only appeared over the credits.

Oh, man. Much as I loved I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, I will absolutely not be able to watch that movie. The book is hilarious because of its graphic accuracy... if they impart that to a movie, it'll basically be porn.

I don't pay for a $10 movie ticket unless it's a really special occasion, and sadly porn does not count.
