New Secret Life of Dolls thataway. I think we might be able to get to The Package after two more entries. That second entry, though? Ought to be pretty exciting on its own. And keep in mind that the last time I said that, I brought in the My Little Ponies. So keep an eye out for that.

Yeah, this. I mean, SMG and Alyson (and Michelle) could probably pull it off, but Nicholas Brendon? Not so much. And Marsters and Boreanaz have clearly aged, so that's sort of a problem for the whole immortal vampire thing.

I, too, am completely surprised the stupidly-titled "Fast and Furious" (really, guys?! just taking out the articles? REALLY?!) is such a success.. but then again, Beverly Hills Chihuahua did well, and I did not see that coming, either.

Reserving judgment on the Grindelwald casting.. he doesn't jive with illustration in the book (not robust enough, methinks) but the actress who played Umbridge didn't either, and she was freakin' fantastic.

From: [identity profile] internal666.livejournal.com
Yeah, I'm a little skeptical of the whole Buffy movie thing, if there really were talks we would've heard Joss squeeing about it by now.

And really, I kinda don't want one to happen. Like sweetdragon said, everyone's gotten old. And what would it even be about? It would be hard to take something from the comics at this point because they haven't really gotten to the main storyline yet. We don't even know who the big bad IS, let alone what he's actually planning.

And then there's the question of who would WANT to do it, SMG may be game (Which surprises me a lot) but Michelle Trachtenberg? Alyson Hannigan? Anthony Stewart Head? I'm not sure about them.

Date: 2009-04-06 02:59 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] internal666.livejournal.com
I forgot to add, I'm pretty sure Eliza Dushku and Joss himself would be game as well, but only if it didn't interfere with Dollhouse (You know, provided that it's still on the air by then).

I'm actually pretty glad IM2 isn't going with Demon in a Bottle. It's a great storyline, but there's plenty to work with between his origin and that point. And also, it would be weird if he lost his company so soon after becoming Iron Man.

The only good I could imagine coming from that, based on the headline alone, was that "Miyazaki Movie" was the actual title of the latest spinoff of Scary Movie. How great would that movie be?
