Oh, dear. I've actually gotten around to reading the books (and will be seeing the movie shortly, lord help me), and it's true: they're like cake. No, no. It's worse than that. This is why I keep my 'action figures' in boxes. Because I'm pretty sure Spike would want me to get him a Buffy or a sword or something, and the Doctor needs a companion...This sounds like a bad crossover in the making...
