I don't know, man. One of my old friends from high school (who genuinely thinks these books are great literature, and that Stephenie Meyer is the Most Important Author of Our Time) posted on her Facebook that she saw it 4 times on Friday. Not including the midnight showing. And I saw several wall posts where she was making plans to see it again next weekend.

One of the girls I work with went to see it yesterday (so she contributed about $10 to that $70 mil), and she was complaining at work this morning about how the movie wasn't enough like the book, that it left out scenes and combined several book-scenes into one movie-scene. Because apparently she thought it should be a ten-hour movie or something?
