Stephenie Meyer makes the Midnight Sun draft publicly available after the epic viral leak last week (which I didn't mention in the linkspam, by the way, because it seemed like bad idea jeans to do so where the lawyers could find me). Also, she is taking her toys and going home. Until Little, Brown stops by her house with a suitcase full of cash persuasion. At least, that's how I'd play it if I were her.

In general, we always want a recap. If you let us get away with it, I think we'd demand recaps from you 24 hours a day, only allowing you to stop for 45 minute naps, and small meals compacted in pill form for speedy consumption. Then, back to the recapping!

Dear God in fluffy Heaven, the woman is twelve. Not wrong on any particular point, but still. TWELVE.

I'm boggling most over the whole "if it wrote it now James would win and all the Cullens would die" thing. I totally get the "emotional state affecting writing" thing, heaven knows. Otherwise there would be no such thing as writer's block and the ($*#&% Blood Ties virtual season would have been up and running with a completed premiere about three months ago.

But the very fact that a draft exists indicates that she's talking about REVISING, not writing!!!
