Stephenie Meyer makes the Midnight Sun draft publicly available after the epic viral leak last week (which I didn't mention in the linkspam, by the way, because it seemed like bad idea jeans to do so where the lawyers could find me). Also, she is taking her toys and going home. Until Little, Brown stops by her house with a suitcase full of cash persuasion. At least, that's how I'd play it if I were her.

In general, we always want a recap. If you let us get away with it, I think we'd demand recaps from you 24 hours a day, only allowing you to stop for 45 minute naps, and small meals compacted in pill form for speedy consumption. Then, back to the recapping!

I bet that's what he'll say if it was his copy, even if he did scan it in himself. I told my sister that he could say that a fan stole a bag of his; it's not unlikely, after all. (I don't think he actually did it, but I find it much funnier if I pretend it is him.)

I've also heard the theory that SMeyer leaked it herself and on purpose to recover from the BD backlash. I think the saddest part about that scenario is that it seems entirely possible.
