At least the upside of this is the positive publicity for you. I imagine that many peopel will come to your journal because they agree with your observations and are intrigued by your writing. Of course, this also means you'll probably get more haters but considering how thoroughly your readers slammed that last sockpuppet, I think it'll be okay. Still, really is a bit of an "oh shit" moment when you know the backlash is inevitable now.
