Date: 2008-04-24 02:31 am (UTC)She got booted off? Not horrible, no-emotion Castro? Or, forget-the-lyrics, no connection Brooke? WTFOMG. This is a train-wreck in the making. I'm so hoping someone offers her a record deal.
David Cook is now the only real talent left, with the exception of Syesha. Blah.

Date: 2008-04-24 03:23 am (UTC)Carly easily has the best voice in the competition - I don't know why she seems to have this likeability problem, where she's always in the bottom. I know Vote for the Worst hates her, which is aggravating. I don't like them or their methods.
I don't get Archuleta either, other than that he has a good voice and is a non-threatening, cute, teen boy.
And I agree with whoever said that David Cooke might be better losing -he'd have more freedom. He could do what Chris Daughtry has done, but maybe edgier. Maybe.
I thought Sayeisha was great last night, but she's not my favorite. Maybe she'd do well on Broadway.

Date: 2008-04-24 03:39 am (UTC)Being a musical fan(mot too much of an ALW fan though) just made me think about all the musical theater kids dying after last nights butchery. No theatre kid could even imagine starting over again.

Date: 2008-04-24 05:16 am (UTC)Seriously, I do not get Brooke, at all. Restarting? I didn't get do that shit in high school theatre (or even middle school theatre) let alone on a major nationally televised show. (And by this point in the finals, they should be able to handle that. Also, if she wants the singing career thing, I hear remembering your effing lyrics and handling pressure.)
Castro was meh last night (his performance, that is, not knowing cats sing the songs in Cats was beyond stupid), but at least I can see him being sucessful post-AI and he's done pretty well in past weeks.

Date: 2008-04-24 06:01 am (UTC)(Not to dis the righteous anger and indignation - I believe that disappointment should always be expressed vocally instead of lapsing into the attitude of 'oh well, we expect it to happen' - but ... It's modern America y'all. The continued faith in the democratic system despite all the evidence is so endearing. ^^)

Date: 2008-04-24 06:31 am (UTC)she's not really my cup of tea--her voice is kind of generic to me, and I dunno--but there's no question she's better than *gag* Brooke or *choke* Castro. Ugh! Kill them before they spread!
