I've had dizziness attacks today, too. Must be something going around the web.

In this line, "Without belaboring the inequities of the script, which are varied and numerous" ... am I missing something, or did he mean something else entirely -- perhaps "banalities"?

Anne Rice really needs a hobby. I mean a legitimate hobby like knitting or something. Maybe she can just knit a sweater of something controversial and get out some of this pent up rage.

And there is no way to defend participation in Chipmunks. Just don't try it. Just walk away sheepishly.

I can just feel her doing a cross stitch sampler of the Necronomicon or something. Crochet some booties for Cthulhu perhaps? Make a tapestry that claims Jesus was a vampire, you know, SOMETHING to keep her out of the sane people's hair.

I received the Official Nancy Drew Handbook for Christmas. It contains valuable advice on things like recognizing good guys and bad guys, escaping from quicksand, choosing nail polish and other essential issues. This year, I am in a new apartment with more space and my Nancy Drew books have come out of storage. I do believe this might be the year to take up my handbook and work my way through the original series, though sadly, not the original versions.

If David Cross has found himself in this position, it's because he's mercilessly lambasted all the inane crap Hollywood has churned out. Of course, is this really the turning point for his fans? He was in Scary Movie 2, the nadir of a series not rife with high points.

The Vampire Chronicles fandom is one of the few fandoms I know of the completely has abondoned the author and the last half of 'canon'. Anne Rice has past over into some other world of crazy.

I hope so. Maybe after Albus Severus arrived she demanded some sort of say in naming the next baby. Quite possibly it could be the case that she just wants one her her children not to plagued by being the living memory of someone that their dad idolizes (minus Snape). Oh never mind, her first name is Lily, AS has it the easiest.

I read that whole family tree, and my response was ". . . Roxane? Who was named Roxane? I don't remember any dead characters named Roxane . . ."

Oh, and they all seemed to have had kids. Huh.

*snickers at Anne Rice* I noticed her commenting on a YouTube video once. She has an Internet connection without the faintest inklng of 'net etiquette, and this is the result.

On Mark Hamill: Just a few days ago I introduced my kids to Hamill's Joker (via the power of YouTube, oddly enough). It was sort of a segue from their new enthusiasm for Avatar (since Hamill is Fire Lord Ozai). They got a kick out of it.

He is, but he's playing it more subtle than his usual villain routine. There's only a hint of that vocal sneer he does so well, and I think I like the portrayal more for that bit of restraint.

From the Del Toro link:

Unfortunately, I can't see the man taking on all of those films -- especially since both The Hobbit and Harry Potter have strict deadlines to meet.

I agree with this too, but still: ;_____________;

Those Indy photos are looking pretty good, and raising my hopes that this movie will somehow not be a total embarrassment. I mean, I should know better...but look at how hot Cate is!

And I want some of those wiki stickers. It will make my return to school for the spring semester so much more entertaining. *G*
