So now I'm hearing that the Brook Highland theater is closed--this is now two arthouse theaters we've lost. And they weren't even exclusively arthouse--just the only places, just about, that you could see something like The Fountain at. Meanwhile, my stomach's upset from the antibiotics, the poms' stomachs have been upset from God knows what (probably something they ate in the yard), and it's all kinds of unpleasant. And yes, I'm still eating yogurt. It helps... somewhat. Meanwhile, I've also come down with a snerfy cold that I've been told is a virus, and therefore unaffected by nuclear-grade antibiotics. Woe.

But future generations will realise he was right.” Source? Uh... someone. Meanwhile, from [livejournal.com profile] katesti: Katie Holmes has a new nose. I feel really sad now.

Against Depression: "Soon after that, I watched a BBC sports interviewer interrogate a Belfast footballer about his leave of absence for depression. 'Many people would look at you and say, fabulous success, plenty of money, crowd adulation—in essence, what have you got to cry about?' he asked. He actually said that. I try to imagine the same interviewer asking Lance Armstrong what on earth he had to have testicular cancer about."

Its out soon here, dunno about in your nexk of the woods.

I was reading a bio of Jackson and he was fringe involved in it during the same time he made Bad Taste and Braindead, but it got shelved for various reasons.

I bet it makes the movie even more entertaining to go see it at one of our Kiwi theatres, making certain one drives past fields of sheep both before and after...

I'm not really shocked. I have family that lives in Knightsbridge. It's an incredibly expensive place to live. I always feel so incredibly poor when I go visit them, even though I'm not. I feel like if I look at one of the houses wrong, it'll fall down or something due to my not being rich.

Also, that jungle woman story --

With no other evidence supporting their claim, however, others have speculated that the woman may have a history of mental troubles and simply became lost in the jungle much more recently.

Um, DNA testing? It should be pretty easy to establish if she's their daughter.

Re the Dakota Fanning story: I think it's absurd to say there is an entire TOPIC a film can't discuss, and it seemed the critics were complaining about the existance of the scene rather than its actual contents on the screen or the methods of producing it.

Re Katie Holmes: she looked SO much better before. I think she was aiming for a Kristin Davis nose, but it just doesn't work for her.

Hey, not to be obvious, but are you eating something other than the yougurt?

I don't know if its related but I get really nauseus (i know I spelled that wrong) if I don't eat anything when I'm on antibiotics. Could be related to to the killing good bacteria, but its just a thought. Try eating a real meal before taking your next dose.

I know awhile back you said you were quitting Mountain Dew (and major props to you for that, that stuff it my drug of choice and I'm pretty much like House and Vicodin with it.) I don't know if you quit caffeine all together, but if you havent, taking it easy on that may help too.

Hope I helped, from a chronically ill Lj-er.

No, I'm definitely eating other food; the yogurt's more of an afterthought, but if I forget it, I regret it later. And yeah, I've been off Mountain Dew for three or four months now; when I go out to a movie (which is not all that often), I tend to get a frozen Coke, but that's about it.

Cleo, have you tried acidophillus? I swear by it, it's brilliant for taking if you're on antibiotics or if you have have an unsettled stomach. Most of the times you just take the capsule after. You can get it in health food shops, there's kirkman labs brand or that Dr Udo's brand as well.
(Sorry if this has been mentioned in comments elsewhere. I checked but didn't see it)

Is that really Katie? It looks like she's had her lips and eyes done too. In fact, it could be someone else, someone who just looks like Katie. I think the real Katie is locked up in a Scientology dungeon somewhere, getting her thetans reduced, because she said it might be nice to go clubbing or talk to her family without Tom listening in on the extension.

I'm with you on this one - that doesn't look like her at ALL! The shape of the face is totally wrong, although the eyes and ears almost do fit. If that is Katie Holmes - and I have my doubts - then she has had a LOT more than her nose done!

From: [identity profile] dietcokebreak.livejournal.com
I agree with you. It has to be a look alike. That person seems a lot older than Katie and more than just the nose is different - the lips, the eyes, even the hairline on her forehead. Please let that not be Katie Holmes. Kids age people, but Suri is still an infant!!

Antibiotics can be airsickness in capsule form. It doesn't help that the damned things float when you try to wash them down. I find that sometimes 7Up (or Diet 7Up) helps. If you don't mind burps that taste like antibiotics.

I only took my first pills last night, so I haven't had time to argle bark bark bark GOD THE ITCHING vododeo. Much bigger than actual Zoloft, though the same dosage. I asked Dr Coffman about it, and he said that the main thing to watch for wasn't the drug itself, but whether the individual maker added a coating or filler that I didn't get along with. Sort of like the way some people get bad heartburn from One-A-Day Vitamins' red coating. And of course the usual eye bleeding and distended egg sac.
