Actually, I find it interesting. I mean, from what I heard, it's gonna show how all the characters tie in to each other. (I still swear Hurley owns the box company Locke works at...) I cannot wait for another hour and fifteen minutes...

Am I the only one who likes the idea of a clip show? lol Not for me, per se, because I want new episodes likenow, but my mom came in fairly late and I think this'll help her catch up on a few things. Also, maybe it'll lure in people who haven't seen anything from it yet and didn't want to start because they were afraid of getting (pardon the pun) lost.

More viewers = more seasons = YAY

After seeing that new preview, am I the only one who thinks that Shannon is a little too adjusted? I mean, her step-brother with benefits just died and yet she's not having a nervous breakdown or anything. Her makeup even looks perfect. It just didn't seem veracious to what Shannon's behavior should actually be.

so one thing i noticed (that at least i didn't notice the first time) is that Ethan's there when Claire wakes up from her "nightmare" about someone trying to steal her baby. maybe that actually wasn't a dream. i mean, he kidnapped her and really, once they knew he wasn't one of them, he didn't try to hide the fact that he wanted her, so i don't think it'd be too surprising if he had tried to take her baby. but who knows? i just thought it was neat that he was in the shot!

Did anyone else notice that narrator guy sounded like the narrator from Beauty and the Beast? I kept wating for him to say 'in an enchanted castle'.

(My mum and I were talking about a Star Trek episode where the planet ended up being a giant computer. I also watch The Iron Giant three times this weekend.)
When it showed the scene where Locke was banging on the hatch and it lit up, I was starting at it as the camera panned out. And either I'm over-tired and weirdly paranoid, but it looked like a giant robot eye. The 'glass' part of the hatch would be the actual visual part of the hatch. The rest would just be the part that connects it the giant robot head.

Now that you mention it, it did sound just like the guy from Beauty and The Beast!

I remember thinking that's what Locke meant when he said he "looked into the eye of the island, and what I saw was beautiful" when the hatch lit up. They showed a preview fpr the clip last week and I distinctly remember that they cut Locke's voice saying "I looked into the eye of this island..." over the scene of him looking into the lit up hatch window.

That would be a big-ass robot.

I wish that they actually put at twist to the clip show, but there's nothing special unless you missed a few episodes. It's not even that exciting--when the pilot was getting killed, which scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it, I laughed hystericaly. Seriously, look at those dangly little legs!

Before I forget -

One of the Aussie TV Magazines had a Lost special with all of these hints and tips on things that we may have missed in the show as well as an interview with one of the writers or producers or one of those guys who, you know, actually has some idea about what is going on.

One of the things he mentioned that I found interesting was that in a bit that was cut out of "Solitary", Sayid asks Crazy Rousseau what her team was studying on the island, and she says "time".

Interesting, n'est pas?

Also, does anyone else find it interesting that the first time we see Ethan is in Locke's company?
