I don't know how interesting the clip show's actually going to be, but here's your Lost discussion entry just in case.

I felt like sucking up tonight so

Sonnet for Cleolinda

Within this poem I will make an attempt,
To form what I hope to be flattery,
Whether just showered, or my hair unkempt,
Your posts of wit and fun are great to see,
Be it family tiffs, or film updates,
Readers always delight in your humor,
And who among us has not shown their mates,
Movies in fifteen, and their great allure,
But I understand those who would not share,
The fine gifts of your humorous writings,
Because in truth let us all be but fair,
Such talent has way far too few sightings,
Thanks for your talent, still more for the taste,
And please never let your thoughts go to waste.

cheers!

I'm taping it for use in pimping the show to my friends.

Wow. I'm never gonna top the sonnet, but I did want to express my views that this "clip show" thing is a TOTAL copout. Bastards. I want plot development. In the style of Miss Cleo, "ANSWERS, BITCHES."

Good idea! I tape this show every time (Starting I think with the first Sayid-centric episode)

Haven't watched any of them again...but just knowing I can makes me feel good.

cheers

*general anger over it being a clip show instead of, ya know, a REAL episode with PLOT and everything...*

I bet it'll be about Jack.

Actually, I find it interesting. I mean, from what I heard, it's gonna show how all the characters tie in to each other. (I still swear Hurley owns the box company Locke works at...) I cannot wait for another hour and fifteen minutes...

Am I the only one who likes the idea of a clip show? lol Not for me, per se, because I want new episodes likenow, but my mom came in fairly late and I think this'll help her catch up on a few things. Also, maybe it'll lure in people who haven't seen anything from it yet and didn't want to start because they were afraid of getting (pardon the pun) lost.

More viewers = more seasons = YAY

I'm pretty sure that's the network's theory behind the clip show--and in putting it on right before May sweeps, to get people caught up.

I'm okay with it, too. Sure I'd love a new ep, but I've badgered a bunch of friends to watch tonight in the hope they'll join me in my addiction.

Besides, my VCR doesn't work anymore, so I might've missed something. *grin*

Not only that, but there are people out there who's seen the show since day one (like me) who still gets lost in the show. So this might beable help them catch up on what they missed in previous episodes.

Oh wow..I just remembered how scary that still-running engine was the very first night. Gave me some seriously intense willies...

Are they going to keep on with this "What if..." motif the whole show? It's already irritating.

Crazy theory number one: The voiceover guy is Alex, someone in the hatch, or both.

Do we know who's doing the voiceover? Because I'd like to mock him properly.

Man, this is just reminding me of how good this show used to be. Not that it sucks now, but it's not nearly as good as it was in the beginning.

DUDE! That was totally sweet! I didn't expect to get a sonnet when I got on...nice writing. Keep it up!

I'm wishing the voiceover guy would die in the middle of episode. Like, he'll get eaten by a boar or something. He's fucking annoying.

From: [identity profile] talaria-now.livejournal.com
I heard an even crazier theory. Who is in the hatch? THE SENIOR PARTNERS!!!

Is it just me, or are the captions saying that the VO guy is saying stuff, but you don't hear it? Cause you might have gotten your wish.

I'm with you. At least he's stopped "what if"ing us to death.
