Mea culpa?
Mar. 20th, 2009 09:14 pmSo. I was hoping to keep Edward in the Sparkle Protection Program for a while, but he couldn't stay in the attic forever, and the other Shelfians wanted justice sooner rather than later. And I don't know if y'all non-Americans are familiar with the term "frontier justice," but it is nothing compared to Shelf Justice, let me tell you. Initially I carried Edward over to the bed in protective custody (a Tupperware box), but he insisted on facing them without any barriers, mostly because I think he was hoping they would actually kill him. The Littlest Edward, he has issues.
( I immediately began to regret that particular statement )
After the High Shelf Council Meeting for Great Justice was over, Galadriel pulled me aside. I was wondering if she was going to get onto me for "no one's a queen" remark, but her face was anxious. "Over here--I don't want Lyra to hear us."
