We're in the middle of a lightning storm, and it's my mother's birthday as well and we're about to have a big dinner, so I probably won't be around much tonight. (I may have to watch Lost tomorrow, I don't know.) So here's your discussion entry a bit early.

Damn, that sounds like hail.

OH MY GOD HELP IT'S MASSIVE HAIL

Still better than MASSIVE FAIL

...here, have Queen performing "Tie Your Mother Down" in Montreal in 1981 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw2rAPl7fck&eurl=http://tara-knrk.itmblog.com/2009/02/17/the-greatest-concert-film-of-all-time-says-me/&feature=player_embedded) as diversion.

Heeeeee. I was recapping it here for a while, and then I fell behind after seven episodes, and I'm trying to decide if I want to wait until the DVD's out to catch up.

hail!

SOUTHERN STORMS WILL NOT STOP.
here in atlanta the local college's tornado warnings go off every ten minutes. it sounds like an air raid.

OMG IT WAS SO SCARY. I'm on the top floor, so there's like, a mere foot of building materials between me and the massive hail. It was like being inside a pinball machine.

Oh man, I'm in Marietta. Not only do I get the tornado sirens, but I get the AFB's "OH GOD LIGHTNING GET INSIDE" sirens. One of my dad's friends got hit by lightning over there a few years ago, so they take NO CHANCES anymore.

Sky gods have a limited vocabulary. MASSIVE HAIL is their way of saying, "Happy Birthday, honored and scary mother of Cleolinda! Please do not make us explode with the power of your mind or anything like that!"

Wow. That does sound scary. Did you get a look at any of it? I'm curious how big it was. (EPIC HAIL?)

I think I vaguely recall even reading a few last time I mentioned true blood to someone. Anyway you should finish it, it just gets more and more ridiculous and at the end spoiler spoiler spoiler.

Be safe! Tennessee had a tornado watch until 5:00, but it didn't get too bad here. It was still hella windy, though. :-/

It came out of nowhere too (I'm in TN). All of a sudden I hear rain (and maybe hail?) hitting the windows and wind and such. 'Twas strange.

Lord, I just had the most asinine image of you shielding your head with your tiny Iorek plushie, all pimped out in impenetrable skyfoil as he is: "STOP SCAMPERING. A PANSERBJORNE FEARS NO ICE!"
