This is the video for one of my all-time favorite songs (circa 2001 or 2002), and yet I am at a loss to explain any of it. The half-assed aqua eyeshadow (hit the arrow button and watch it in HQ), the visible underwear, the single K earring, the tutus, the neon spandex, the robot suits --the people at the end may be dressed up like xenomorphs, I'm not sure.

ETA: Oh, look, she took the xenomorphs on tour! They do like to get out of the house sometimes.

I probably would've just sat there thinking "Seriously?" but I was too distracted by the fact that Ian McKellan was hosting and he did something no one ever does: he went and sat on stage while she was performing and clapped like a giddy fanboy. /tangent

On the subject of crazy music videos, have you ever seen Annie Lennox's video for "Little Bird"? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIIudD44o58&feature=channel_page) She's smiling all the time and looks absolutely insane, and she accumulates people dressed in her different looks from the past ten or so years, and then there's just this big group of Annies. Basically.
