So a couple of people asked for Secret Life of Dolls icons, and I thought, well, I don't have a digital camera to take posed pictures with, and my copy of Photoshop hates me and won't let me use 90% of my fonts so I'm mostly stuck with Arial these days, so... would it actually be possible to make anything decent? Well, I can't turn down a challenge, so...

If you want different versions of any of these, let me know. Take whatever you want, feel free to make your own, if... somehow you want to, I don't know. (That's just a standard "go forth and party" disclaimer, sorry.)

I'm...yeah...I'm totally just going to steal these all.

And by "steal" I mean "save and use periodically, while crediting...and perhaps commanding everyone to go read the Secret Life of Dolls NOW"

Anyways, great stuff as always :D Thanks for these.

OMG. Reading the Secret Life of Dolls was hilarious in its own right. The icons are, though, are the perfect icing for the cake.

On a totally unrelated topic, I wondered if you'd seen this?

Tortoise needs lift to the Mojave Desert (http://news.yahoo.com/story//ap/20080907/ap_on_fe_st/odd_wayward_tortoise).

Coincidentally, Wayne and Lee Ann Cusick happened to read a newspaper story about the tortoise living in Cusick. The couple said they would like to adopt Sadie, but are reluctant to drive from their home in Blythe, a desert city in southern California, to pick up the tortoise in Washington.

Cooper and Cusick are hoping a big-hearted southbound traveler can give Sadie a ride. Cusick said he even considered a tortoise relay and is willing to make the four-hour drive to Los Angeles if someone would bring Sadie that far south.

"I somehow don't think that's going to happen," he said, "but I'm hoping that between word-of-mouth and some notoriety, we'll be able to find someone."
Would that be suitable for your linkspam? The tortoise even taught an orphaned fawn how to forage for greens!

It took me a couple tutorials to get it down. Have any helped you out? I've been debating about writing up my own tutorials basing processes on how I did them in PS7. Maybe I can do some up next chance I get and you can give me feedback on their helpfulness or something? I wouldn't know what to do them on, though, so if you (or anyone) could give me an idea of what you'd like to do, it might help me out.

How to put text on shit. That's the first thing I tried to do, and could not make heads or tails of.

Don S. Davis (Scully's dad on X-Files and Hammond of Texas *sob* on Stargate: SG1) died two months ago! How did I only find out now, did I black out through all mentions of it? It's the kind of thing you usually mention in linkspam, did I simply repress all memories of it as too traumatic?

I have an SG1 episode on pause and if I hit play again it'll be with the knowledge that Davis is no longer here. I think I need something stronger than redbull to help me do that.

Haha! I took the Eowyn sword one (#2). Now I have to figure out if I have ROOM for it (seriously, I need, like, 2000000000 icons, LJ!!!)
