Not the best day I've ever had; not the worst, either. I seem to be cycling through moodswings at an astonishing rate--well, "cycling" implies a set pattern, and I don't know that there is one. And they're not terribly strong swings, either. All I know is, I spent a lot of the day feeling very sad, and then all of a sudden I'd be smiling to myself about something. Other than the sadness, which is really frickin' annoying in terms of trying to get anything done, the moods themselves are fairly mild; I don't feel manic or anything. I have a med check next week, though, and I'll be mentioning them then.

I cannot wait for the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" movie. Grr on James Cameron for messing with the title!

Yeah, I went out with her in grad school.

Nothing I've read about the Terminator Salvation film gives me hope. (Disclaimer: I like Bale, but every time I see the name "McG" I just roll my eyes.) If the script unfolds the way they've hinted, it's a franchise-killer; nuking the fridge, as it were.

And I'd gladly pass on an Iron Man sequel as long as there was a Tony Stark film. Just film Downey being Stark for two hours and I'm there.

Didn't they come out and disavow that ending, though?

They may have. (I would have, if it'd been true or not.) Since the franchise torpedoed the second movie's entire premise for the sake of tacking on a third installment, I confess I've approached it like someone I knew as a kid but just don't have anything in common with anymore.

Somehow I'm not too surprised they're turning escape into a movie. The book was good, but I don't know how it will transform into a movie.

This quote made me lol though "...Warren Jeffs (the man who so idiotically thinks that the more wives you have, the closer you get to heaven). "

Man... why M. Night for the Avatar movie? Surely there are directors out there who won't be obsessed with sticking themselves in the movie and saving the day, or coming up with some sort of convoluted twist that's pretty darn obvious early on... Sixth Sense was good. But the others since then haven't been, and I really don't want him near Avatar.

Bezos is... an idiot. If your hand starts to hurt when you're reading a book, you shift positions. Or take a break.

I'll be honest: The more I see of the Duchess, the more I can't wait for it to come out.

I totally agree with this comment. The man was born to play D'Artagnan.

Of course, it's also my hopeless wish that they have Kiefer Sutherland reprise his role as Athos. Completely un-canon as that movie was, he made a great Athos.

While I hope your mood stabilizes soon, I have to say that I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling inexplicably sad.

I'm tempted to blame it on the weird weather we've had in Alabama the past couple of years, since the kind of sadness I'm currently experiencing feels a lot like the kind of sadness I usually experience in late autumn. Perhaps the weather staying incredibly warm right up until last Christmas somehow delayed my seasonal mood swing, or something.

That Public Enemies movie is going to be so good. I saw them filming loads of it here in my home town. We were fortunate enough to meet him (twice) and to get some good shots of different scenes and sets.
