I guess they want us to think that Jin will die next week, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Claire, because she's the person I'm finding least interesting right now.

The Michael reveal was not all that surprising to me. I was pretty sure it was him. But I do wonder what happened to Walt.

Jin's dead. His thing was a flashback, Sun's was a flashforward.

The big clue with Jin's was when the shopkeeper said it was the year of the dragon, the last one was 2000. I thought something there seemed weird, but it didn't fully click until he said he'd only been married two months.

Lostursday is seriously weak. Even during the crappy episodes last season, sometimes it was hard to keep up with all the comments. My friends all refuse to watch Lost - how will I squee if no one else is here? Oh, woe.

Can anyone tell me what Bernard said to Jin? After the we're the only married guys on the boat and Rose surprised me not wanting to go with Locke, my daughter decided to get cranky and vocal.

He basically told Jin the reason they didn't go with Locke was bc staying with Jack was the "right" thing to do since Locke has done a lot of shady things.

And, he told Jin that he believes in karma and that following this path should bring good things since he believes he's doing the right thing. Then he said that Jin would also be rewarded bc of good karma and that's when they caught a fish which Bernard felt proved his point.

I'm hoping beyond hope that Jin is still on the island and not really dead. It helps that people smarter than me caught the death date on the tombstone as the date of the crash...

In Lostverse I'm 17 at the time the *present* events are taking place and YotD happened either when I was 13 or [future!Luna]25. Then I started to worry because they had already mentioned the crash in Sun's flashforward. T^T *sob*

The boat was Kahana. All we could find was that it's a town in Hawaii; does it mean something else? We were wondering.

I didn't think Sun had re-married Hurley because she opened the front door for him and he was standing outside waiting. Somehow I don't think a husband would knock or ring the doorbell. :)

Wow total mindfuck in this ep. I completely didn't get the year of the dragon reference and I couldn't make out the tombstone date so points to those that did and now I feel a bit more caught up.

Juliet - am I the only person that can't stand this woman? I get major holier than thou vibes off her and I sooo wanted to see Sun beat the hell out of her last night. I mean there's having a strong character and just being a flat out lying bitch. Yeah. So not loving Juliet.

I'm pretty sure everyone saw michael coming. Especially since his name was in the credits at the beginning of the episode.

When we saw him at the very end of the hall and all we could see was that it was a black guy, I thought it would have been really funny if it actually WASN'T michael, and we all just assumed it was because he's the only black guy on the show (well, except Echo). But I guess they didn't want to mess with us anymore than they already did (thank god).

So last night my Lost buddy and I had a guest who has never watched before. She saw one episode in season 1, all she remembered is Sayid's musculature of serious hotness. So on the commercial breaks we're trying to fill her in a little, assisted by the fact that the Lost buddy and I do a hive mind thing where we speak in partial phrases (or partial words) AND I keep calling Juliet "Muffin" and Claire "BabyMomma of the Apocalypse". Of course, neither of them has read your recaps but Lost buddy has at least gotten used to my Cleo-isms.

We lost the guest somewhere between "Crazy French woman in an underground bunker" and "sex and fish biscuits".

Sidenote: Jin's English is wayyyy too good for only having been learning it for a few weeks (months?). His accent isn't quite right, either.
