Here's what I do when I'm sick, apparently: make icons.



The King Arthur and Moulin Rouge caps from from the lovely folks at cap_it--I am particularly indebted to crumblingwalls for her fabulous MR caps.






ETA, because I always forget: Want/take/have. I take heroine requests, and if you make your own, I'd love to see them. :)

I've got one, but it's one of my early lame ones, and now that I've seen the movie I'd like to make some more. Now that the DVD's out, there ought to be some good caps somewhere...

I tried making some Morgaine from Mists of Avalon, but I didn't have very good pictures. Have to find some more of those. And Guinevere spellings are so wonky--that one's the standard, I think, but you see Gwynwhyfar, or something like that, in MOA, and I've also seen Gwynevere. "Guineveira" applies exclusively to Keira Knightley. ;)

Heh. I fooled Vladimir with it, too--that's how wonky the five thrillion Guinevere spellings are. So don't feel bad. :)

I love this concept so much! I haven't stolen any of yours yet (I only have an unpaid LJ, so only three icons), but I love them all.

I just started making icons recently, partly so that I could make my own Heroine Addict icons. Here is my first contribution:


It is Jaye Tyler (played by Caroline Dhavernas) from the now canceled TV show Wonderfalls.

deborah kerr's character in "an affair to remember." i adore that movie, and she is such a strong, wonderful woman.
sailor moon...cause she rocks, if you're into anime. or the slayers chick too, what's her name? gosh i haven't watched that in a while...
