Sorry, I was so excited about the Lemony Snicket site that I forgot to thank everyone for the nice get-well comments last night. Unfortunately, I now have two black eyes. However, the Pepto Bismol seems to have reluctantly begun to work. My throat hurts, but there you go. Also, The Best Mommy God Ever Made got out of her doctor appointment early and bought me a new keyboard before she went back to work. It is very l33t and can access my email or the My Computer folder or my home page at the touch of a button. And as soon as I figure out which buttons those are, I'll be in business.

It is so good to have a space bar again.

Hey, it's a "Microsoft Internet Keyboard," something like $19.99, if you want one. I checked on Amazon, and people are selling them used (good condition & new) for $10. Not bad at all. :)

Yay Mom! Sorry about the black eyes. Play the Rocky theme over and over and come up with some really cool street-fight scenario to explain them to everybody. Tell 'em you and P. Diddy and Fitty got into it with the cops. Yeah, that's it.

Yeah, that's what my stepfather said--"The next question is, what's the other guy look like?" Really, it's not "black" eyes at all--it's all uniformly red, and there's pinprick-sized splotchiness all over the rest of my face. Could pass for a black eye, I guess. There's a medical term for it, but I can't remember it. Really, if I needed a new keyboard, I guess I picked the best time to be sick--I'm getting waited on hand and foot. Mostly because my face freaks my family out, I think. V. Phantom of the Opera. (Muahahahahahah.)
