YAY I AM SO EXCITED! I found this David Bowie CD--six live tracks and/or remixes that randomly came packaged with some magazine I subscribed to about ten years ago, which was AWESOME. It has my favorite version of "Heart's Filthy Lesson"--that had been missing and I found it and it had fallen behind the file cabinet and it was missing but I found it! I found it! SWEET.

Also, I itch now. I really don't want to think about what's in all that dust. Seriously, don't tell me. I know some of y'all smartasses will tell me about spiders and mites and shit and I am telling you right now, I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.

I bet Joe Pesci there, who is only nominally larger, but much more dangerous.

Dust is actully just tiny dried bits of other, usually non-irritating, objects. Most of yours is probably just from paper. You're turning into a book! Which is pretty cool when you think about it.

Yeah, but I have a lot of crap in my room, which means the dust could be made up of *anything.* Ew.

I need to take a shower.

This is precisely the reason I loathe cleaning my room. I find SO. MUCH. DUST. I don't know where it all comes from. And then my eyes water and I sneeze and I feel awful... Blarg. Showers are good, though.

David Bowie! Eee. That is the best thing to find, ever. Better than money and truffles, no ifs, ands, or buts!

That CD is The Shit. Lyrainverse and I got them at the same time back in the proverbial "day."

BUT GUESS WHAT.

It, along with x-hundred other CDs of mine, got ganked. :( Please, listen to this CD often, for my sake.

Last time I cleaned I found a Tom Jones CD that I had no memory of ever owning. So you're one up on me on the CD finding front.

I am the family dust magnet during cleaning time. Therefore, not wishing to incur the righteous wrath of you, I will not even begin to speculate in your hearing about the constituents of the dust.

A hot shower sounds wonderful at this point. Congrats on finding the CD!

p/s -- I found your book in my local (Manila, Philippines) bookstore, and was jumping up and down like a loon, because never did I think I would see it here. Husband has been reading bits and chortling madly as a result. Yayz!

I CAN'T clean my room because of dust. I'm super allergic - the littlest dustball sends me in a fit of sneezes. My bedroom turned into a storeroom (I went travelling, moved out of state for a while...I came back and my bed became Wardrobe #3) and when I tried to clean it out, just STEPPING in the room gave me the sneeze attack. Mum had to do most of it, and I moved into my sister's room.

sniff!

Congrats! Finding good stuff is THE YAY.

Completely unrelated, but: do you still have the link to that woman who makes art out of animal bones and junk? I can't remember the name of the site to save my life. :(

This is totally irrevilant, but you wrote PoA in 15 Minutes, right? My friend and I LOVE it and read it in our classes to keep ourselves entertained. And we quote it constantly.
