And lo, unto us the Infangelina was born.

I have some more linkspam, but I'm really, really full right now. We had marinated steak kabobs (kebabs?) with purple onion and sweet red peppers. Mmmm.

ETA: How to talk to your child about the Brangelina baby:

Is the Brangelina baby better than me? The only way to answer this is directly and honestly. Tell them: Yes, the Brangelina baby is better than you. But Mommy and Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa all love you very, very much. Less than they love the Brangelina baby, but with as much of their hearts still available.

Can I be friends with the Brangelina baby? No. He/she doesn't care about you. You cannot even look directly at the Brangelina baby. Explain that photos of the Brangelina baby are shot through special lenses, and that prolonged exposure to the Brangelina baby will make your child go blind.

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt...

...what a name o.O

Whew. I was worried that the Lost finale had kilt ye ded for a while. Glad to see things are well and engorging in Cleoville.

And I do have to admit, I was expecting something much more hideous than "Shiloh." But something completely mundane (like "Jane") would've been a pleasant surprise.

Awesome. It's been Celebrity Baby Day. Anyone know when Rachel Weisz is due to pop?

I must admit, I rather like Shiloh, battle and all, and Nouvel isn't horrible even if the spelling's a bit questionable, but - Jolie-Pitt? Is horrible. Would Pitt-Jolie have been infinitely better or am I just crazy, y'all?

Eh, I kind of prefer Jolie-Pitt, but as for the rest of the name - or the name as a whole, really... *shudders* Why DO that to a child?

Oh, so that's why the seas boiled briefly yesterday and the heavens opened up and an unearthly radiance and angelic melody emanated therefrom. I thought someone forgot to punch in the numbers again. *g*

Truly I'm humbled. I accept that the Brangelina Baby, -er Shiloh Nouvel, is better than me but hopefully I can one day live up to her.

My niece has a pink horse named Shiloh.

She also has a brown horse named Chocolate Horse Mix It.

Chocolate Horse Mix It would have been a way cooler baby name.

I love how kids can give things names that are perfectly acceptable and then turn around and give something else a name completely out of left field without blinking an eye.

Is the Brangelina baby better than me?

lmao I took my sister aside and spoke very seriously to her about the Brangelina baby and how this new baby will effect our relationship. She then asked me the above quote and I shook my head sadly, patted her shoulder and told her 'yes tegan. yes she is.' and my little sister started bawling.

(this was all done for the benefit of my co-workers at the store XD )

I'm am completely convinced the the genetic matinee idol "bombs", if you would, in Angie and Brad are just too powerful to create a beautiful baby.

They will instead cancel each other out and create the ugliest child the world has ever known, even the multiple ugliest dog award-winner (RIP) would run away, tail tucked between his mangy legs...

Mark my words, people.

For the record, I had a dog named Shiloh. I also have dogs named Buffy and Krum, so I suppose it's the lesser of the evils. Can no one famous just name their kid something normal like Justin or Brandon or Sarah or something? I suppose anything is better than Kal-El though.
