Have you seen the earlier Claudette Colbert version? It's also good, but doesn't have the pure Sirk melodrama-cheese factor of the Lana Turner one, which is SO AWESOME, as you know.

I didn't even know there was an earlier version! I've only seen the LT/Sandra Dee version. And Sandra Dee was the single most annoying white girl EVER.
