Just to check in: Still working. Deadline is Tuesday morning. Won't hear much from me until then.

However, if anyone has any Eleanor McEvoy mp3s--I've lost my What's Following Me? CD, and anything you've got would be helpful. I do have "A Glass Unkissed" and "Whisper a Prayer," so that's something. And gold star to ggsugarmoo for finding me the right version of "Get into the Groove." : )

Well, the twitch in my right eye is coming back (happens when I sit looking at the computer too hard for too long. Like, days), and I'm tired. But I keep thinking of that part at the beginning of the second Matrix--which ought to tell you that I've been around these movies for too long--where Morpheus is all like, "What If We Could End This War... Tonight?" Like, seriously. I could blow this deadline and it would be bad and all but we would deal with it. OR... it could all be over as of 10 am tomorrow. Well, not "all," but the worst of it. So I am fighting off the urge to go to bed really hard right now. : )

I had a dream where I broke into a radio station to steal their copy of "Get Into the Groove," since they had the original version, which was worth a lot of money at auction on the black market. Subterfuge was involved, since they realized how valuable the record was and didn't want it stolen.

Andrew Sullivan noted that the "ban gay books" bill introduced by Alabama State Representative Gerald Allen actually has a much wider scope than it first appears. The bill could potentially extend far beyond Oscar Wilde books. Here is the actual language of the bill (via PolySciFi):
