Another round from the To Pimp list, while the Spider-Man DVD is rolling over back to the beginning:

[livejournal.com profile] lady_tavington: "Oh, All Mighty Cleo, I have, for thy pimping, a story to push, hoping that thou willst do some magic for me... I just started a Star Wars/Lostr (LOST+LOTR pairings) fic, entitled Discord Among Us, and I was hoping you could do me some pimping... Chapter 1 be here, and Chapter 2 be here. While you're at it, could you also pimp my fic comm, [livejournal.com profile] literarydebris? Tnx muchleh."

[livejournal.com profile] divabat: "[livejournal.com profile] rphurtsmybrain (a spinoff of [livejournal.com profile] trollprincess's [livejournal.com profile] ithurtsmybrain) needs writers and [livejournal.com profile] faithlikewhoa needs more people posting. Thankee :D "

[livejournal.com profile] theatre_angel: "I should hope that Sherie Rene Scott Online is eligible for pimping."

[livejournal.com profile] shempskaya: "Please pimp my community [livejournal.com profile] ghpp, The Guerilla Haiku Postcard Project. The gist of it is, write a haiku on a postcard, mail it anonymously to whoever you want, and post it. It's been dead in there for quite awhile, maybe some new blood will freshen it up."

[livejournal.com profile] chorusgirl: ":Pimp take two: My Harry Potter fanfic. R&R maybe?"

[livejournal.com profile] tundraeternal: "Could you give a shout out on behalf of [livejournal.com profile] who_new_who, a comm for people who've fallen in love with the new Doctor Who series? We want lots of people to come join so we can all be psycho fanatics together. Thanks!"

[livejournal.com profile] mackzazzle: "So, my pimp request? [livejournal.com profile] negability. Literary history RPG. Yeah, you heard that right. It's just starting, and we're really hurtin' for characters. Any English author born before 1900 is fair came. Come on. It's only the awesomest thing ever. ;)"

[livejournal.com profile] akakat: "Lovely Cleo, tf I'm not past deadline could you pimp my Vid site? Music videos for HP, LOTR, POTC, and others."

Misc. links:

Since [livejournal.com profile] vampychick reminded me, Capewatch: "Approximately US $4,349.63." (Emmy Rossum's Christine wedding dress? Approximately US $482.44. Oh, burrrrrrrn.) And yeah, the quills are already out of my reach. Woe for writerly mementoes. However, you can still get a whole frickin' bee costume (I know, man. Bee costume?) for like $15.

(I still want to know who ran off with the candelarmbra.)

Behold the power of crazed fangirls and tremble, mortals.

There's an idea for a new invasion force. Just tell the women that somewhere in the city part of Gerry Butler's wardrobe is in need of liberation and I swear the city will fall before sunset. Nothing can stand before them.

And poor Christine's wedding dress. It wishes it were as sexy as the cape.

Gerard Butler's cufflinks and pin are up to almost $1000, however, you can get peices from the chandelier for less than $100. The cape is gorgeous though. Actually all of the costumes are great. I keep wondering if something like one of the Phantom's outfits would go up for sale. Now the bidding on that would be crazy insane.

Pardon, if I make a breach in ettiquite, but if you are still taking Pimpage Requests, please consider http://www.sir-toby.com/extend-a-story

No ads, no pictures, straight up texty goodness. Branching, choose your own way storyline and any blank pages can be added onto. The new page will appear in moments.

There is a concentrated effort to avoid pointless violence and gratitous cheesecake.

Instead, we have plot-relevant violence and um...lots of cheesecake. Plus, a talking dog.

Ok, so I just watched Spiderman. I'm trying to see all the 15M movies before the book comes out, mainly because I missed nearly every movie of the nineties and this is an excuse to see them. Let me just say that Kirsten Dunst has never looked so hot in all her life. She needs to hire the Fug girls to do her wardrobe or something because if she looked like that all the time, she'd be the female equivalent of GB. People would be bidding on her wet shirts shoes.

Q: Did Gerry use ( or write with) these!?!?
A:These particular quills are actually clean-tipped and do not have ink stains on them, but were set props for Gerry to use in the scene

This has absolutely nothing to do with anything in this post, but I've found people don't normally cruise old posts looking for new comment, so I figured it would be better to post here.

Is there any way I could use the idea of 'Rent-a-Phantom' for my English project? I'm not trying to turn in your work, but I want to use that idea for a Dante's Inferno project that's due soon, and I thought I'd check with everyone who did it...and I don't know the names, so I fiigured this was the best place to post it.

Thanks.
