@LJmysticowl: @cleolinda Honestly, I think it's mostly paranoia - the belief in the sinister powers of the Russian government. It's a bloated bureaucracy.
I have been mirroring entries at Dreamwidth (a big new one over there today), just in case, for some time. I'm going to continue posting there for now, since we have no idea how soon (or how long) LJ will be dependably up. I'm also on Twitter. If LJ stabilizes, I will still be on it. Nobody panic. (If nothing else, I don't think Dreamwidth supportsOpen ID or commenting for Facebook/Twitter users, which I want to have.) (ETA: It does support Open ID.) I'm just saying, I have to keep posting with or without LJ, and this is the best way to do it.
