Wow. I feel really, really anxious today for some reason--all jumpy in the stomach. All I'm doing today is getting my hair cut (by a woman I've known for about four years now, and who is completely trustworthy and won't screw it up) and then going out to a late-late dinner and Harry Potter. But for some reason I feel like I'm about to take an exam or something.

[livejournal.com profile] dailydigest is coming along just fine, though. Two more things to add: You can review older movies. Also, you can post as frequently or infrequently as you want. Seriously, I totally don't care. I figure, if you're smart/obedient/sentient enough to read the guidelines and promise to follow them, you can do whatever the hell you want once you've been approved. Again: you want in, leave me a comment at the guidelines entry. (ETA: I've fixed the link.)

Also, the Aviator trailer is out.

Even if one knows and trusts the person, getting one's hair cut is always a reason for the jitters. I mean, an earthquake could hit, shake the building and hence her hand, and the scissors could snatch more hair than intended.

This old lady isn't quite brave enough to cut her hair. The old man whines when I get it cut. However, tonight, with the help of one demented Pixie (my offspring), I am coloring it again. YAY, no more grey.

I just wanted to let you know (in case no one else has mentioned it) that your guidelines post link is actually another link to the Avaitor trailer thing. :D

I got my haircut yesterday by someone totally new, who was apparently from the Professor Snape school of haircut design. Luckily it looked ok today after i blowdried it. I'm all nervous today too, about seeing Harry Potter! Sheer excitement, i'd say, nothing to worry about. I sure hope it's good though!

I think I just died ded from that trailor. I can't tell you HOW INSANELY EXCITED I am for that movie. Dear GOD.

Also? Do you know if there's a trailor around for de-lovely, the Kevin Kline/Ashley Judd Cole Porter biopic that's even more exciting to me than The Aviator? The intro on is pretty great, but I wonder if there's a trailor around...

What a great summer for Golden Hollywood movies.

hehe, maybe you're really exciuted about Harry Potter? One of my lj buddies had this post-movie post about her pre-movie excitement to make: http://www.livejournal.com/users/kai_ta_loipa/399463.html

So, how's the hair? And, more importantly, what did you think of Harry Potter?! ;)

Or do we have to be a patient public and wait for the 15 minute version?

The hair turned out fine. And I'm almost finished with my plain-Jane HP review as we speak. :)

I'm kind of weird-jumpy-nervous too, and I don't know why. Plus I've got this weird metallic taste in my mouth. (?)

AHHHH! NOT LOOKING, NOT LOOKING UNTIL I WRITE MY OWN, NOT LOOKING!

I kinda wish they hadn't used "... in Fifteen Minutes," but it's not like it's trademarked or anything.

They have a different kind of funny, but they totally copied your style and format.

Heh. I kinda wish someone would at least say, "Didn't you get the idea from her?" Of course, I'm not the first person since the creation of the universe to do something like this, and I need to get over it.
