Great. I wake up with an inexplicable need to do laundry, as one does, and by the time I had come back upstairs the thunder and the lightning and the rain and possibly the hail had started up, and I began having apocalyptic visions of rafting to Mexico. On top of this, I turned on the TV to see if there were any storm/tornado/flood/death warnings, and suddenly the cable went out and left me with nothing but static. So now, after all that, Samara's coming to get me. Fabulous.

Honestly, I haven't been there in weeks, if not months. Like a lot of people, I only applied really to see if I'd get in at all. I ended up quietly starting my own concrit comm because I didn't find the tone they take to be very helpful for me personally.

The first two weeks after watching The Ring, anyone with long black hair looked like Samara, including myself. I spooked myself out looking at the mirror. Am very wimpy.

One day I was going into work and when the elevator came, these three girls got off. As they were walking down the hall, one of them said something about how I looked like Samara. I have dark hair and I was wearing a white shirt but come on. I do not look like Samara.

So I watched what room they went to and then when I got to my desk, I called the room and whispered, "Seven days."

Seriously, Sister Girl kept shrieking about how there were 91 tornadoes in the Midwest yesterday. And then she and Mom went out and bought an air mattress. I have a feeling we're going to be paddling that thing across the Rio Grande before the week is out.

*shivers* It actually kept me awake the night after I watched it (I went right to bed. Baaaad idea). It scared my cousin even more though. Her dad's an architect, and he was working on a house in Mass, so she went with him to help out. It was kinda out in the country... and it had a big well... and OH, the cable had been cut off... so she got static. She was disturbed, lol

Good movie though.

haha, yeah, the same thing happened to me with the housesitting-- the dogs were sitting on me when i woke up because they were scared. it was disturbing. not little dogs.
