I think we have, like, three different kinds of pie. That is pretty much all you need to know.

Meanwhile, what are you thankful for? Even if you are not American or eating many awesome foods today, although if not, I do pity you a teensy bit. Of course, you also don't have to deal with the accompanying Family Holiday Drama most of the rest of us do, so... maybe we're even.

I, for one, am thankful for the Made of Fail crew, who sent me these:

(The gold and silver shimmer M&M phrases are a reference to Episode 10, which I was on--the one people seem to recommend most to newcomers. The others just have "15" printed on them, because the M is already on there, and...)

(Oh my God, how is it already Thursday and I have not finished the thing yet wtf.)

OH AND I'm thankful for so much this year: my family, friends, my job, my first-ever trip to Disney (yay!), and of course, I am thankful to YOU, for all the laughs I've gotten from your movies in 15 mins, the Secret Life of Dolls, and just in general, everything you write is fun. I hope 2010 gives you more to be thankful for, because with all the computer and other appliance issues you & your family have been dealing with this year, you deserve an awesome 2010 (and a great ending to 2009)!

Anyhow, that was much longer than I wanted it to be. :D Have a great Turkey Day! :)

I'm thankful for bagels and yappy dogs and my mom deciding to not be insane for Happy Eating Day (it really harshes my eating buzz when we fight during the meal), for my job and the kids I work with who prove to me that there is ALWAYS hope and a "try again" and hilarity. In general, I'm thankful for my generally awesome life and family and friends.

I'm thankful for my mom, for my house, for my job that is actually a nice place to work and that gives me oodles of vacation time, for my friends in RL and on the Internets who have been very supportive when I've needed them and given me lots of laughs, for my iPhone and my DVR, which have revolutionized my life, for my DSL connection without which I would be absolutely lost, for my belly dance class which I enjoy, and for the boys in The Libertines for making music I love, inspiring me to take crazy trips, and being the catalyst for meeting so many amazing people.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!

I think we have, like, three different kinds of pie. That is pretty much all you need to know.
yesterday, my mom told me and my sisters that we were in charge. My immediate response? "So how many pie tins do we have?"

Four pies, three types. Wheee!

Now seems as good a time as any to de-lurk.

Thankful for;
- My husband.
- Our house.
- My family and friends.
- Tea.
- Central heating.
- My job.
- Lavender hand cream.
- Diabetes treatment.
- You & your writing. I came for the Twilight recaps, found an angle I could enjoy the whole thing from, and haven't looked back. Stayed for m15m, SLoD and your general awesomeness. Thank you for providing me with a distraction when I really really needed it. (2009? Not a good year.)

I'm English, so no turkey. It's just another Thursday, though not a bad one on the whole, so yay for that.

Thanksgiving is a wonderful day to count the good things in your life. :) I am thankful for my family, small though it may be, for my dear friends, for the fact that I finally have some interviews next week (YAY!) and all the things that make life okay, like stuffing, puppies, Top Chef, the muppets, Cleolinda's writings and Sparkle Motion.

Best wishes on Thanksgiving to everyone! May you have bountiful and delicious food!

I'm thankful for my friends, my family, my peers for supporting me, my co-workers for being so patient with me as I learn the ropes at my newish work place, my professors for having a sense of humour (well, two out of four ain't bad), my roommates for being silly creatures of hilarity, and to all those who pass me by every day, like my fellow uni students. I'm thankful that I don't have to worry about a husband or boyfriend (or wife or girlfriend) overseas fighting to maintain peace in wartorn countries. I'm thankful that I still have all my limbs, and I'm extremely thankful to know that the human spirit can and will survive anything that gets thrown at it. The human spirit is a tenacious little thing, and I'm grateful for that.

I'm also thankful that you're so open about your life, Cleo, and that you can laugh about it (albeit painfully at times) with the rest of us. I hope your Thanksgiving is amazing with minimal family drama. I'm Canadian, so I've already had my Turkey for this year.

Happy Thanksgiving Cleo!

TEAL DEER: I'm grateful for a whole bunch of stuff, Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

I'm thankful for my best friend and the boy I'm flirting with for making this most horrific of days a little less horrific than it may otherwise have been.

I send them internet loves.

Also thankful to twitter for allowing me to rant in inarticulate 140 character chunks.

I am thankful for:
- My new computer (no more living in the college library, yay)
- My family (and that includes the cat and dog)
- Delicious foods (especially considering I live off of bad cafeteria food at school)
- The privilege to attend a good college (food options aside)
- You and the accompanying lulz (and Twilight, I suppose, by that token)

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hope the holiday gives you some time to relax!

I am thankful for my own kitchen, because until three weeks ago we actually lived with my in-laws. While we were working on our old/new house.

And I'm thankful for the cornbread turkey dressing I made in said kitchen, because that is the ONE food I MUST have at Thanksgiving. YUM YUM.

I'm thankful that my son, who had a health scare, is doing spectacularly well. I'm also thankful for my wonderful, loving husband who supports me in everything I do; for my agent who's shopping my novel; my job, which is interesting and allows me to do some good in the world; and my kitty who didn't die this year despite his best efforts.

Also thankful for Cleolinda who gave me many lulz this year when I really needed them (2009 was a bitch). Hope you have a wonderful holiday!

Hmph ... *grumble* stupid Canada *grumble* no holiday weekend *grumble* have to stay at school and learn stuff *grumble grumble*

Pointless whining aside, I'm thankful for:
-Being Canadian (even if we don't have a holiday right now)
-The Tim Hortons across the road
-My amigos who always bring donuts when they visit
-All of these lovely LJ's like yours that give me something laugh about amidst my endless school work
- And Buffy the Vampire Slayer (that show is just love)

.... Oh and family and such

I am thankful that this year it's just my primary girlfriend and I, nice and quiet at her place, while my roommate throws his big SCA/family shindig at our place and while my ex takes the brood over to my kids' half-brothers' dad's place (well, that almost made sense, didn't it?).

I am thankful to be gainfully employed, to enjoy the confidence and affection of several very good people, and for my acquaintance with various clever online people (such as yourself).

A Happy(-as-can-be) Om Nom Nom Day to you, I say!
