... on THAT OF WHICH WE DO NOT SPEAK:

I went on another photo safari (this seems to be a new Saturday morning tradition), this time at Hobby Lobby, a terrifyingly huge artsy-craftsy emporium. (The reason the photo safaris happen on Twitter is because you can take a picture on your phone and email it straight to TwitPic from there, which then appears automatically on your Twitter feed.) I mean, I spent fifteen minutes in that thing and I am ready to craft THE SHIT out of something. You take TLE there, he'll think he's died (again) and gone to heaven. Note on photos: we did not even get into any of the vertical aisles at the store. This is simply the shallow end of the pool.

@cleolinda Hobby Lobby photo safari, y/n?

@cleolinda omg, this package is epic. (Mostly it pertains to TLB.)

Hee, and exactly a month from my birthday, too. And one of the items was, coincidentally, something I desperately needed. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] wombatgirl !

As a side note, I must issue a correction regarding...

@cleolinda "Edward Prefers Cougars": http://tinyurl.com/yh7qr6o

@cleolinda I find it sad that the immediate source of my disgust is, "Did you even READ the books?"

... as I was reminded by several people that Edward's favorite food is mountain lion. So I concede the pun.

Back to work. Apparently the best part of the movie (minus John Cusack's best line) is online completely legally. Enjoy.

"California is going down"? Really? They used that line and expected to have a not-shitty movie? Really? (not I did not say "good".)

It's like ID4 was the pinnacle of the disaster genre and everything since then (I'm looking at you, Day After Tomorrow) (also side-eye at you, Poseidon Adventure) has been downhill.

I've been trying to count with the pics and such and I still can't tell exactly how many pets you have! My current total is 3 dogs and 2 cats but I feel like I'm missing someone. SPARKLEPONYS NOT INCLUDED.

Also, don't you mean "THAT OF WHICH WE DO NOT SPEAK"?

So glad I have watched these five minutes. I have saved my hubby and I at least $20 and around three hours.

I vote that TLE makes a trip to Hobby Lobby for a future Dolls episode.

And homfg, My Little Pony is slated to come back to television!?!?! WIN. Ultimate win. (Provided they don't completely blow it, mind you.)

Craft stores are amazing because you can go in like I AM ONLY GOING IN FOR SOME HOT GLUE STICKS and next thing you know you're in the checkout line with fake flowers, a jewelry making kit, and tons of knitting stuff.

Also, I'm going to see the midnight premiere of New Moon. Anyone have any tips on what to expect from the audience? I'm just more than a little anxious.

*stares at 2012 clip*

Wow. I just....I don't even know what to say.

I had a creepy 'Twilight' experience on a trip to Burger King yesterday, though. I was with my mom and we parked to go in. I looked over in her side mirror and Edward was just...there. Standing there, staring. It was unbelievably creepy. Her mirror was reflecting the 'lifesize' cling of Robert Pattinson they had on their door. Mom didn't see it until we got right up to it and she just about jumped out of her skin.

*shivers* Never thought a window cling would creep me out.

My boyfriend's new favorite game is trying to get me to go to Burger King, so I can stock up on Edward Cullen merchandise which he insists I want, because I'm supposedly obsessed with the guy. I told the BF that I have no interest in sparkly stalkers who don't even put out.

I know what you mean about going to craft stores and thinking you want to become crafty that second. I made my mother buy me a candle making set at Michael's years ago and I've never used it.

Also, having escaped working at Delia's a year ago, that picture of the flower aisle cracked me up. I'm having flashbacks of folding that damn t-shirt logo wall night after night right now. *shudders*

I cannot BELIEVE you can write that well in the dark. When I do it -- and I've had a lot of practice -- my writing is still all over the page and sometimes the lines are on top of each other, so I can't even read what I've written.

That's the best scene in the movie? Didn't the last episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer do the identical same thing a couple years ago?

Also, it's nice that CGI artists have spent so much time looking at footage of the collapse of the World Trade Center so they can accurately mimic how a skyscraper goes down, but 8 years out I'm still not findin' the image even close to entertaining.

I spent a ton of money at Hobby Lobby the other day buying stickers and cardstock and fancy paper and fancy scissors for making Christmas Cards.
I purposely did not venture into the Christmas decor aisles. I would've never left. Whenever I go into a store like that (Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Trees & Trends, Pier One Imports) I want to LIVE there and just use all the stuff to turn one corner of the store into a perfectly decorated home for myself.
