I know people for whom Friday the 13ths are actually lucky; I am not one of them. But--knock on wood--so far, things are going pretty well.

First of all, I just got an email from The Lovely Emily:

Good! I'm trying to find out details about time, etc, but it should be fun :)

Man, that will make my life SO MUCH EASIER. I'll have two or three whole extra days to do the Fifteen Minutes, and will probably spend most of them rocking in a corner with performance anxiety, but now I will have the extra time to do so!

This was pleasing to me.

(Also, yesterday, Scout got stuck in the ferns under the deck [which we have fenced off precisely so the dogs don't go tromp on them]. It was v. v. pitiful.)

@cleolinda Btw, before people start alerting me, I hear Stephenie Meyer's on Oprah today. I can't take a full hour of that, though.
