The new Made of Fail episode is up!

From [livejournal.com profile] litlover12 , a good cause: "A friend and I are raising money to buy classic books for schools in the Philippines that lost all theirs in the typhoon. You can read about our efforts here. If you could find a way to give this a mention on your LJ, we'd be most grateful! Thanks very much."

So, off topic, but have you seen the latest Twilight horror (http://faithwood.livejournal.com/175755.html)? (It involves panties.) I don't know if they're being mass produced or if it's just some sicko fan that made some for themselves, but.. I am sufficiently creeped out for the day.

If it's the same ones I saw, they're fan-made. Seriously, I can't bring myself to look again. My constitution is not that strong.

The inside of them is the truly appalling part. It goes to whole new levels of creepy. I'm betting on fan-made, because I cannot even conceive of somewhere official trying to market these.

I had seen those in passing, but I had never seen what was on the inside of the panties. OMG that is beyond sick.

I know! I sort of gacked out a horrified laugh when I saw, and then I processed it, and I kind of wanted to weep for the world.

Have you read the Vanity Fair preview of their RPattz interview? (http://www.vanityfair.com/online/daily/2009/11/robert-pattinson.html) He still seems so befuddled, poor boy.

Rather than working his way through supermodels, Pattinson, who’s been living out of three suitcases for the past year, has been feeling overwhelmed, self-conscious, and guilty. “I’m trying not to drown,” he says in his hotel room at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel, which is littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar, and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor. And he notices that he hasn’t made his bed. “Oh, God. Sorry about that.”

“I’m unbearably self-conscious about stuff,” he admits. To the point where, while filming scenes before the army of New York paparazzi that has been following him around, he is terrified that his “ass crack is showing.”

...

He’s sure he’s driving people crazy by constantly talking about how he can’t leave his hotel room. And he sees his inability to relish his fans’ reverence as his own shortcoming. “I guess I’m not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise,” he says. “I’m not much of a crowd person.”

Old scrambled eggs?!?! That's not just messiness, that's halfway to being on an episode of Hoarders.

Really?!?!? I don't think it was in your summaries, and honestly, after reading those (which are great) I just don't feel like slogging through the books (which, without your commentary I'm sure would suck).

I still stand by my Volvos are for old men statement though.

It was in the summaries -- I'm sure I remember a reference or two to the Volvo of Great Justice.
