I went on another yard safari this week, but ended up posting so frequently that I didn't want a picspam to get buried. And now that Scout has so many fans, I feel like we need moar Shelby.

And also, I have moar from my yard, because I'm sure it is so fascinating.

See if you can spot the bird and the squirrel in that last picture, by the way. (The rest of the pics are here.)

Shelby's adorable, too! Terrier-anything = rule.

I have a soft spot for Scout, though, because he has the most gorgeous red hair.

Awww Shelby is too cute!
And I saw the bird right away, but I had to get my face all close to the screen to see the squirrel... BUT I found it :0)

I really like that first picture of the thin branches reaching to the sky. I tend to take a lot of pictures like that. Glad to know I'm not the only one!

I can't imagine having green grass and leaves and flowers right now. So jealous.

Seconded, I keep waiting to see the first little signs that green things are popping up, because I know it will make me feel good about the world again.

Found the squirrel!

...sadly, that's probably my chief accomplishment for the day... *crawls back into bed*

must keep this from 2 year old, it is all we will do tonight is look at your dogs.

That being said, so cute! And your garden is so pretty.

Shelby is adorable! I have a dog like that, except smaller and more beige. That's my Tinkerbell. My other dog (TJ) looks like Scout, oddly enough, except a bit smaller.

Whenever I look my dogs, I always think of Where the Red Fern Grows.

Wow, it's full-on springtime in your backyard there. We are still shivering up North here. It's 42 out right now.

I was thinking of you tonight while watching The Maltese Falcoln! I was imagining it being retold in your unique way. Then I went off and tried to come up with a story for The Malteser Falcoln, which involves a giant chocolate statue filled with malted milk powder. But that is for another day.

I'm so jealous that Spring has sprung there. Up here is it still dead. D-E-D dead.

Can I ask how Scout and Shelby got their names? Because they're littermates, aren't they? And yet one has a "human" name and one has a "dog" name.
