Snow!

Taken from my kitchen window:

Scout likes to chase the snowflakes (he tries to eat them), and once he got bored with that, he flopped out in the snow and started rolling around like he was making snow angels. And then he came inside and we made pancakes. Later, I will probably make hot chocolate. Right now, I am getting back in bed to watch the snow from my window.

Aww, pretty. It's snowing here too, but I live in Canada and it's not nearly as exciting for us.

Excellent picture, makes me nostalgic -- but in a good way. =)

Dude. I'm in New York [City] and we don't have that much snow. We haven't had that much since... oh, before Christmas. And that stayed for maybe about a day.

o_O

Clearly you have blocked out the slushy trauma that was January.

Haha yes, I had. Thanks for reminding me. :p

But when it came to snow actually accumulating... nada.

SNOW!

That's a wonderful picture, the trees look beautiful.

I'm in New Jersey, and we're supposed to get 8 to 12 inches tonight/tomorrow O_O We just got a light coating this morning. Hee, Scout is adorable.

Pretty!

I'm in Queens and it snowed lightly here, too...my dog has decided to roll around in it until she's a snow-terrier before she goes back to fighting (and losing to) squirrels.

I think Faramir and Fugagorn need to go build a tiny snow fort and engage in an epic snow battle.

And then maybe they get too cold and have to keep each other warm. At least until the new mystery package arrives.

That's so pretty (albeit for a short while, not for any kind of extended period that leads to chaos). We didn't get anything like that in the Jan/Feb cold snap. Stupid proximity to the Atlantic preventing snow from sticking.

My dad woke me up to show me that it was snowing, then again later to show me that it was actively snowing.
I...definitely wasn't expecting to see snow after that dusting we got earlier this winter :D

We here in Austin, Tx hit 93F on Friday. Then the cold front hit us and we had a freeze. The weather this winter has been cuhrazy....

It's snowing where I am, too, but...I've got to go to work anyway. Ugh.

We've had 4 feet this winter, and they're saying this storm could be another two.

Aw, I love snow. All I get today is some crazy wind. Which sounds nice from bed, but it's not snow.

Heh, it snowed in South Carolina twice earlier this year (the southern parts, where it never snows...like in Charleston! It snowed in Charleston! They get hurricanes more often than snow there!). I happened to be home on break from my school in Boston, and my brother knocked really loudly on the door at 9AM and yelled, "Hey, it's snowing! Wanna come play in the snow?"

I yelled back, "Look, where do you think I go to school, anyway?" and rolled over and went back to sleep.

Lucky. *bitter* My mom just called to tell me to wear a tanktop when I leave the house because it's "NOT-EVEN-A-BREEZE" hot outside.

Looks like Kansas! It was 70 degrees two days ago. This psychotic weather is changing like flipping the pages of a book. It's supposed to be back at 70 Wednesday.

Great picyure!

RE: your button. See, free mammograms are a Good Thing, but free rice means local producers go under because of course they can't match a price of 0. So free rice is a Bad Thing, to be discouraged.

I'm disappointed. It snowed in TN last night too, and I was expecting it to still be here when I got up this morning, and when I looked out the window, it was all gone. :-( So I'm living vicariously through your snow now. lol

It used to happen every five years, now it's up to once a year. That's how much it's changed since I've been around.

I overslept and missed most of it, it is to cry. Going by that photo and what everyone else said, it was beautiful.

I'm so envious. That's beautiful and oh how I miss those days of lying beneath warm covers and watching the snow.

Jealous...! It's been unusually warm in Vermont lately, and most of our snow is gone. :(

It's snowing here (Boston) too, but more of the tiny flakes that sting your face in the wind and not the big fluffy ones.
