I bring you: ALICE DOLLEN!

Okay, it's just a NECA figure, not a Tonner doll. But ALICE DOLLEN! CHEAP Alice Dollen! I have no idea when it'll be available to buy, but: EXCITING.

ETA: This picture makes me think it'll be May or "TBD" ("to be decided"). WOE.

ETA: The card says only "2009," woe. But she is wearing movie-accurate slippers, huzzah!

Adorable!

Admittedly, a Tonner version would be awesomer, but I think of all the Twilight dolls there could possibly be, this is the one I would want the most.

Oh wow. So far she's the only one who actually looks... right to me.

I want her outfit, yes I do. I actually found her character pretty adorable, all in all.

Finally! A Twilight movie doll that actually looks right! I might actually lay down some cash for an Alice doll.

And so sad... it's actually putting the Edward & Bella ones to shame standing side by side at that link. Obviously the sculptor of this doll is an Alice fan...

I feel like this announcement needs a dramatic "dun dun dun!" style musical accompaniment. Possibly a clap of thunder and dramatic lighting.

Yeah, I am astonished about how much more well-crafted Alice is compared to Edward and Bella.

Alice Dollen with the rest of the crew on The Shelf? I want to see that. It would be AWESOME.

I think it would be hilarious if everyone with a doll/figure license looked at their sales and went, "Wait, ALICE is the biggest seller?"

I think it helps that Alice is supposed to look a little vacant otherworldly, so she translates to doll format well. Whereas Edward just looks like he hungers for your brains.

She's so my favorite. I'm actually a little puzzled as to how such an awesome character ended up in the Twilight series at all. And that was my favorite outfit of hers in the movie, so I'm glad that seems to be the one the doll/figure licensees seem to be using.

The Edward by himself goes for about $16? (The Bella only comes in an Edward two-pack, because they know no one would buy a Bella by herself.) As opposed to the 17" Tonner dolls, which are like $140.

WOOOHOOO. I want an Alice way more than Bella. Though I decided to snag the Bella & Edward combo...now I have to find a shelf my boyfriend doesn't look at often, as he would be terribly afraid.

Oh, wow. Now that's one great looking doll. (Allright, imo). There's something about it (her?) that...I don't know, but it looks just. So. Right.

I shall admit that my first thought when I saw this post of yours was "MOAR SLoD! AWWWWWW YEAH!" and I went frantically looking for the LJ-cut link and then... nope, I was *sniffle* wrong. I guess the last few days' (much appreciated) "overload" is "taking its toll" so to speak. *fidgets* ;)

I saw her last night and knew there'd be a post like this come...well, soonish. She was the only one I still liked after getting through the first two books. It's a cute outfit, too. I might buy her.

Oh my god I love her dress. I still hope that one can go all Barbie on her and get her different outfits, because really, Alice needs more than one (admittedly adorable) dress and shrug.
